At least 240 people were killed and more than 900 injured in a horrific triple train crash on Friday in Odisha involving the Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Express, the ShalimarChennai Central Coromandel Express and a goods train, officials and hospital doctors said.

As many as 48,783 candidates have been allotted ranks in their corresponding courses as per their performance in the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination, results of which were published Friday.
