  1.  The Odisha government will procure 70 ambulances for transportation of patients, officials said here Wednesday. Of these, 30 would be advanced life support (ALS) ambulances and 40 would be basic life support (BLS) ambulances, they informed. The cost for procuring 30 ALS ambulances will be borne by Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd (MCL) while the remaining 40 will be bought by the Odisha government.

  2. Governmentrun varsities in the state will have free Wi-Fi facility in their campuses, a notification issued Wednesday by the Higher Education department Special Secretary Ramakanta Nayak said.
