  5. The Odisha police escorted the green corridor from Rourkela to Indore with 21 tonnes of oxygen. Odisha also  sent a second tanker of 25 tonnes of oxygen to Mumbai. Two oxygen tankers left Jajpur for Vishakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh and Pune in Maharashtra. The Air Force's fighter jets will carry oxygen. Two Air Force C-17 fighter jets have been sent from Telangana.  Odisha also  will now send oxygen to Telangana.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday held talks with the chief ministers of 10 states on the situation in the capital Delhi over the corona epidemic situation and the oxygen situation in hospitals.   11. The first Oxygen Express carrying seven tankers filled with liquid medical oxygen from Visakhapatnam returned to Maharashtra on Friday, four days after it started its journey. The train arrived at Nagpur at 8.10 pm, bringing some relief to the state which is reeling under a surge in coronavirus cases and shortages of medical oxygen.

Sixty-five healthcare personnel, including doctors, deployed on Kumbh duty have tested positive for COVID-19, officials said here on Friday.All of them have been kept in isolation, they said.A total of 751 healthcare personnel -- 336 doctors and 415 nurses and paramedics -- had been deployed in the Kumbh Mela area after being vaccinated.
