- After recording over four lakh fresh cases for four consecutive days, India witnessed a single-day rise of 3,66,161 COVID-19 cases on Monday, which pushed its tally to 2,26,62,575, according to the health ministry.
- As many as 18 Covid-19 patients succumbed to the coronavirus in Odisha in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of deaths in the state due to Covid-19 rose to 2215, informed Health Department.

He further informed that Rs 21,588 Crore in Punjab and about Rs 11,784 Crore in Haryana has been transferred directly into farmers’ account.
