  1. India has reported 62,224 new Covid cases in the last 24 hours, slightly higher that yesterday's figures. The death count climbed to 3,79,573 with 2,542 fresh fatalities. With the fresh Covid cases, the country's tally of cases has climbed to over 2.96 crore, as per Union Health Ministry.
