- In Odisha 3456 more persons tested positive for COVID-19 during the last 24 hours while 65845 samples were tested yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 5.2%. Khurda district reported highest 499 fresh infections followed by Cuttack (480) and Puri (289).
- COVID-19 infections on a decline, India recorded 42,640 new cases on Tuesday with the daily count dropping below the 50,000-mark after 91 days. The cumulative death count stands at 3,89,302, with 1,167 fresh fatalities reported yesterday.

- The CBSE said if the candidates are not satisfied with their result, CBSE will provide online facility for registration for the examination.
