  1. India reports 50,040 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours, 2.7% higher than yesterday
  2. The COVID-19 tally in Odisha reached 900470 as 3408 more persons tested positive for the virus during the last 24 hours. A total of 68335 samples were tested in the state, yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 4.9%. Khurda district reported highest 582 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack (553) and Jajpur (258).
