- Odisha has 609 persons, including 97 children below 18 years of age, tested positive for COVID-19 during the last 24 hours while a total of 64991 samples were tested in the state, yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 0.93%. Khurda district reported highest 209 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack (71) and Jajpur (36).

- Finance Ministry has extended the last date to avail benefit of the late fee amnesty scheme from existing 31st Aug to 30th November, 2021. Earlier, the government had provided relief to the taxpayers by reducing or waiving late fee for non-furnishing FORM GSTR-3B for the tax periods from July, 2017 to April, 2021, if the returns for these tax periods are furnished between 1st June to 31st August this year.
