  6. The Odisha government has approved conducting a census of the Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises (MSME) ensuring proper policy planning to revitalise the ailing sector. The census will begin this month and continue for next three months. The state will collect data from 5 lakh MSME units. MSME Principal Secretary Satyabrata Sahu said that Odisha is the first state to conduct the MSME census after 15 years. The census will be conducted in 314 blocks and 126 municipalities of the state. The state has also allocated a sum of `15 crore to carry out the initiative.
