  1. Vijay Amruta Kulange has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC). Dibya Jyoti Parida replaced Kulange as Collector of Ganjam.

An analysis by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) stated that there has been no criminal case registered against the three newly-elected Rajya Sabha MPs from Odisha, namely Sulata Deo, Sasmit Patra and Manas Ranjan Mangaraj. The ADR has analysed the affidavits of all 57 newly-elected Rajya Sabha MPs.
  5. The ADR stated that out of 57 newly-elected MPs, 53 have assets in crores and 23 have criminal cases registered against them.
  6. The Election Commission of India issued a gazette notification for the 16th Presidential election. The nominations can be filed till June 29 and the scrutiny of the papers will be held on June 30, while the votes will be counted on July 21.
