World Thrift Day

World Thrift Day is observed on October 30 every year. This day is also known as World Savings Day. Saving money is never a bad idea as it prevents you from facing a financial crisis. It makes you feel financially secure. This day highlights the importance of saving money to safeguard the future.

This day was first established on 24th October 1924 in Milan during the first International Savings Bank Congress.
