632 AD: Islamic prophet Muhammad died in Madina. 

1707: After Aurangzeb’s death, his two sons, Muazzam and Azam Shah fought for the throne of Delhi. In this, Muazzam killed Azam Shah and seized the throne of Delhi.

1915: The book Gitarahasya, written by Lokmanya Tilak while he was in Mandalay prison, was published in Gaikwad Vada, Pune.

1936: Indian State Broadcasting Service got renamed All India Radio.

1948: First international flight of Air India took off from Bombay to London. The flight was VT-CQP Malabar Princess. 

1984: Homosexuality became legal in New South Wales of Australia. 

1992: World Oceans Day celebrated for the first time.
