1. The Kerala Assembly passed an unanimous resolution urging the Centre to withdraw its Electricity Amendment Bill, 2021, saying it would facilitate free entry of private players into the sector.
2. Parliament on Thursday passed a bill which allows the central government to prohibit strikes, lockouts, and layoffs in units engaged in essential defence services.
3. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Thursday said that ₹ 100 crore has been sanctioned to restore the roads affected by unprecedented rains in Konkan and Western Maharashtra.
4. Mr Dahiya will get ₹ 4 crore, a government job and a plot at concessional rate, the Haryana government said in a statement. An indoor wrestling stadium equipped with modern facilities will be built in Mr Dahiya's village, Nahari, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said.
5. The Odisha government on Thursday allowed opening of physical classes for Class-IX student across the state from August 16. This was informed by School and Mass Education Department. The teaching hour for Class-IX students will be from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. excluding Sundays and Public Holidays.

11.  Evaluation of answer sheets of the offline Matric examination, which concluded today, will begin from August 12, informed Board of Secondary Education (BSE) President Ramashish Hazra said.

The CBSE on Thursday informed the Supreme Court that it will conduct examinations for improvement of marks of classes 10 and 12 candidates from August 25 to September 15, and fixed September 30 as the date for declaration of results. The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) board said it will commence improvement exams on August 16 and declare results around September 20.

1. Odisha on Thursday reported 1,342 fresh Covid positive cases informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department, taking the total tally to 9,83,523. A total of 1,342 new Covid positives include 775 quarantine cases and 567 are local contacts. The positivity rate today stands at 2.2%.

The Telangana High Court on 04 Aug (Wednesday) directed the state government not to release funds under the controversial government order (GO) Rt 208 issued by chief secretary Somesh Kumar, until further orders. The issue pertains to G O Rt 208 issued by the Chief Secretary on June 7 sanctioning about Rs 60 crore ‘towards pending contempt cases pending in the High Court.

The General Insurance Business (Nationalisation) Amendment Bill, 2021: on 02 Aug, Lok Sabha passed the Bill which will allow the govt to reduce its share in the state-owned general insurance companies, helping achieve its divestment targets. Divestment refers to the government’s selling of part of its ownership in state-run corporations.

6. The Telangana government waived crop loans up to Rs 50,000 benefitting over six lakh farmers across the state. The amount will be released to farmers between 15 Aug to 31Aug. In the first phase, crop loans up to Rs 25,000 were waived last year. In the third phase, crop loans up to Rs 75,000 will be waived in 2022 and up to Rs 1 lakh in 2023.

10. ଇ-ରୁପି ହେଉଛି ଡିଜିଟାଲ୍ ଦେୟର ଏକ ନଗଦବିହୀନ ଏବଂ ଯୋଗାଯୋଗହୀନ ମାଧ୍ୟମ | ଏହା ଏକ QR କୋଡ୍ କିମ୍ବା SMS ଷ୍ଟ୍ରିଙ୍ଗ-ଆଧାରିତ ଇ-ଭାଉଚର୍, ଯାହା ହିତାଧିକାରୀଙ୍କ ମୋବାଇଲକୁ ବିତରଣ କରାଯାଇଥାଏ | ଇ- RUPI ଦେୟ ସେବା ସାହାଯ୍ୟରେ, ଜଣେ ଉପଭୋକ୍ତା ସେବା ପ୍ରଦାନକାରୀଙ୍କ ପାଖରେ କାର୍ଡ, ଡିଜିଟାଲ୍ ପେମେଣ୍ଟ ଆପ୍ କିମ୍ବା ଇଣ୍ଟରନେଟ୍ ବ୍ୟାଙ୍କିଙ୍ଗ୍ ପ୍ରବେଶ ବିନା ଭାଉଚରକୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିବାକୁ ସମର୍ଥ ହେବେ |
11. ଢ଼େଙ୍କାନାଳ  ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ପାରାଜାଙ୍ଗ ବ୍ଲକ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ତାଲାବେରେନା ଗ୍ରାମର ପ୍ରଫୁଲ୍ଲ ଦାସଙ୍କ ପୁଅ ଡକ୍ଟର ପ୍ରଭାତ  ଦାସ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଭାରତୀୟ ପରିସଂଖ୍ୟାନ ସେବା ପାଇଁ UPSC ପରୀକ୍ଷାରେ ଯୋଗ୍ୟତା ହାସଲ କରି 50 ତମ ସ୍ଥାନ ହାସଲ କରିଛନ୍ତି।
12. ତେଲେଙ୍ଗାନା ସରକାର ସାରା ରାଜ୍ୟରେ 6 ଲକ୍ଷରୁ ଅଧିକ ଚାଷୀଙ୍କୁ 50,000 ଟଙ୍କା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଫସଲ ଋଣ  ଛାଡ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଏହି ପରିମାଣ କୃଷକମାନଙ୍କୁ 15 ଅଗଷ୍ଟରୁ 31 ଅଗଷ୍ଟ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ମୁକ୍ତ କରାଯିବ |
13. ଉଚ୍ଚଶିକ୍ଷା ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠାନଗୁଡ଼ିକ ପାଇଁ କେରଳ ସରକାର 'Let's Go Digital'  ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଛନ୍ତି। କଲେଜ ଏବଂ ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ସମେତ ଉଚ୍ଚଶିକ୍ଷା ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠାନରେ ଡିଜିଟାଲ ଶିକ୍ଷାକୁ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକାରୀ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ନିକଟରେ ଏକ ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର କମିଟି ଗଠନ କରିଥିଲେ।
14. ତାମିଲନାଡୁ ସରକାର ରବିବାର କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ କେରଳରୁ ରାଜ୍ୟକୁ ଆସୁଥିବା ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ନକାରାତ୍ମକ ଆରଟି- PCR ପରୀକ୍ଷା ରିପୋର୍ଟ କିମ୍ବା ଅଗଷ୍ଟ 5 ରୁ ଦୁଇଟି COVID ଡୋଜର ଟୀକାକରଣ ପ୍ରମାଣପତ୍ର ନେବା ବାଧ୍ୟତାମୂଳକ ଅଟେ।
15. ୧୦୦ ମିଟର ପରେ ୨୦୦ ମିଟରରେ ବି ହାରି ଯାଇଛନ୍ତି ଦୂତୀ ଚାନ୍ଦ। ଆଜି ୨୦୦ ମିଟର ଚତୁର୍ଥ ହିଟରେ ସେ ଅଂଶ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିଲେ ଦୂତୀ। ରେସର ପ୍ରଥମ ରାଉଣ୍ଡରେ ସପ୍ତମ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ରହିଛନ୍ତି ଦୂତୀ।
16. ଆଜିଠୁ ସମସ୍ତ ରୁଟରେ ଗଡ଼ିବ ମୋ ବସ୍‌। ସମସ୍ତ ୨୫ ରୁଟରେ ୧୯୪ଟି ବସ୍‌ ଯାତାୟତ କରିବ। ସକାଳ ୭ଟାରୁ ସଂଧ୍ୟା ୭ଟା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଚାଲିବ ବସ୍‌। ସପ୍ତାହାନ୍ତ ସଟଡାଉନରେ କେବଳ ରେଳ ଷ୍ଟେସନ୍ ଓ ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦରକୁ ଛାଡ଼ି ଦେଲେ ଅନ୍ୟ ସମସ୍ତ ରୁଟରେ ମୋ ବସ୍ ସେବା ବନ୍ଦ ରହିବ।
17. ମଙ୍ଗଳବାର ଦିନ ଖୋଲିବ ନନ୍ଦନକାନନ । କୋଭିଡ କଟକଣା ଭିତରେ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟଟକ ବୁଲିପାରିବେ ପ୍ରାଣୀ ଉଦ୍ୟାନ । ତେବେ 10ବର୍ଷରୁ କମ ଓ 65 ବର୍ଷରୁ ବୟସ୍କ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରବେଶ ନିଷେଧ କରାଯାଇଛି ।
18. ଅନ୍ତର୍ଜାତୀୟ ସ୍ତରରେ ଭାରତକୁ ବଡ ସଫଳତା , ଜାତିସଂଘ ନିରାପତ୍ତା ପରିଷଦର ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ଦାୟିତ୍ୱ ତୁଲାଇଛି ଭାରତ 
19. କରୋନା ଭାଇରସ ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ମାମଲା ବୃଦ୍ଧି କାରଣରୁ ଜାପାନ ସରକାର ୩୧ ଅଗଷ୍ଟ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ନିଜ ଦେଶରେ ଜରୁରୀକାଳିନ ପରିସ୍ଥିତି ଲାଗୁ କରିଛନ୍ତି ।
20. କରୋନା ଭାଇରସ୍‌ର ଡେଲ୍‌ଟା ପ୍ରଜାତି ୧୩୨ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ  ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ବ୍ୟପି ସାରିଛି। ବିଶ୍ବବ୍ୟାପୀ ସଂକ୍ରମଣର ନୂଆ ଲହରକୁ ନେଇ ବିଶ୍ବ ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସଂଗଠନ (ହୁ) ଉଦ୍‌ବେଗ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଛି। ଡେଲ୍‌ଟାକୁ ନେଇ କେତେକ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ସ୍ଥିତି ଭୟଙ୍କର ରୂପ ନେଇଛି ଏବଂ ୨୯ଟି ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ଅକ୍ସିଜେନ ସଙ୍କଟ ଦେଖାଦେଇଛି।
