- India's total tally of COVID-19 cases surged to 3,04,11,634 with 48,786 new infections being reported in a day, while the recoveries have crossed 2.94 crores, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Thursday.

- ଗତ ୨୪ ଘଣ୍ଟାରେ ଆଉ ୨୬୪୦ ଆକ୍ରାନ୍ତ ଚିହ୍ନଟ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି । କ୍ୱାରେଣ୍ଟାଇନରୁ ୧୫୧୭ ମାମଲା ଚିହ୍ନଟ ହୋଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ୧୧୨୩ ଜଣ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ସଂକ୍ରମିତ ଚିହ୍ନଟ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି । ଏଥିସହ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ମୋଟ କରୋନା ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ମାମଲା ୯ ଲକ୍ଷ ୬ ହଜାର ୪୨୯କୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଛି । ଖୋର୍ଦ୍ଧା ଓ କଟକକୁ କାଟି ବାଲେଶ୍ୱରରେ ସର୍ବାଧିକ ୩୯୭ ଜଣ ଆକ୍ରାନ୍ତ ଚିହ୍ନଟ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି । ଗତ ୨୪ ଘଣ୍ଟାରେ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଆଉ ୪୦ ଜଣଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାଣ ନେଇଛି ମହାମାରୀ । ଏଥିସହ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ମୋଟ କରୋନା ମୃତ୍ୟୁସଂଖ୍ୟା ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇ ୩ ହଜାର ୯୭୦ରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଛି ।
- ୨୦୨୫ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ରାଜ୍ୟର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ନଦୀରେ ପ୍ରାୟ ୪୦ଟି ଇନ୍-ଷ୍ଟ୍ରିମ ଷ୍ଟୋରେଜ୍ ନିର୍ମାଣ ଯୋଜନା ରହିଛି। ପାନୀୟଜଳ, ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ଜଳସେଚନ ଓ ବିଜୁଳି ଉତ୍ପାଦନରେ ଲାଗିବ ନଦୀ ଭିତରେ ସଂରକ୍ଷିତ ଜଳ। ମହାନଦୀ, ବୈତରଣୀ, ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣୀ, ଋଷିକୁଲ୍ୟା ଆଦି ନଦୀରେ ଇନ୍-ଷ୍ଟ୍ରିମ ଷ୍ଟୋରେଜ୍ ନିର୍ମାଣ ପାଇଁ ୧୧ହଜାର ୭୧୩ କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କା ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ ହେବ। ଏହାର ପରିଚାଳନା ଦାୟିତ୍ୱ ନେଇଛି ଜଳସମ୍ପଦ ବିଭାଗ। ପ୍ରଥମ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟରେ ସାଢେ ୩ ହଜାର କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କା ମଞ୍ଜୁର ହୋଇଛି।
- ଚାଇନା ଗତ ଛଅମାସ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତିବ୍ୱତ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଭାରତୀୟ ସୀମା ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରାୟ ୧୦୦ରୁ ଅଧିକ ସାମରିକ ଡ୍ରିଲ କରିଥିବା ଏକ ରିପୋର୍ଟରୁ ଜଣାଯାଇଛି ।

- Odisha reported 2640 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours while a total of 63695 samples were tested in the state, yesterday. The Test Positivity Ratio (TPR) for the day stood at 4.1%. Balasore district registered highest 397 new infections, followed by Khurda (365) and Cuttack (266).
