1. ୨୪ ଘଣ୍ଟାରେ ଚିହ୍ନଟ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି ୨୯୫୭ ଆକ୍ରାନ୍ତ । ଆଜି ଚିହ୍ନଟ ହୋଇଥିବା ସଂକ୍ରମିତଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ୧୬୯୮ ଜଣ କ୍ବାରାଣ୍ଟିନ୍‌ ସେଣ୍ଟରରୁ ଚିହ୍ନଟ ହୋଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ୧୨୫୯ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ବାସିନ୍ଦା ପଜିଟିଭ ଚିହ୍ନଟ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି । ଏହାକୁ ମିଶାଇ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ମୋଟ ଆକ୍ରାନ୍ତଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ୮୮୩୪୯୦ ଜଣ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଛି। ଏନେଇ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସୂଚନା ଓ ଲୋକ ସମ୍ପର୍କ ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଟ୍ଵିଟ୍ ଯୋଗେ ସୂଚନା ଦିଆଯାଇଛି। ୨୪ ଘଣ୍ଟାରେ ଖୋର୍ଦ୍ଧାରୁ ଚିହ୍ନଟ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି ୪୦୮ ସଂକ୍ରମିତ ।

1. India recorded 42,640 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the lowest since March 23, according to data released by the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry on Tuesday.As it continued with a declining trend of coronavirus infection, the country reported 1,167 deaths. This is the fifth consecutive day in the last two months when the toll has been below the 2,000-mark.
2. Odisha today crossed a major landmark of administering 1 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses. So far,  1,00,06,067 doses have been given to people in the state, as per the data available on CoWIN portal.
3. Odisha reported as many as 2957 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours while 61608 samples were tested in the state, yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 4.7%. Khurda district registered highest 408 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack (272) and Jajpur (260).

13. Tamil Nadu govt has released guidelines for protecting school students from sexual abuse. The regulation states that every school should have a eight member student protection counsel group consisting of the school headmaster or headmistress, teachers, members of the parent teachers association, non teaching staff, outside members and management representatives.
14. From Jul 2021, a higher Tax Deducted At Source (TDS) rate would be applicable for Income Tax Return (ITR) non-filers, according to the Finance Act, 2021. If a taxpayer has not filed TDS in the last 2 years & TDS deducted each year more than ₹50,000, the tax department will charge more while filing the ITR from July 1.

1. India recorded 62,480 new COVID-19 infections on Friday, besides 1,587 more fatalities, which took the country's total tally to above 2.97 crore cases and 3.83 lakh deaths, according to the Union health ministry.

The 91-year-old had contracted the virus last month. His wife, Nirmal Milkha Singh, had succumbed to the virus on June 13.

9. Third wave of the viral infection is unlikely to affect children much . Bangladesh improved its position by seven notches in the Global Peace Index 2021 compiled by the Institute of Economics & Peace (IEP) based in Sydney, Australia.  15th edition ranking 163 countries according to country peacefulness, the Index placed Bangladesh at 91st position compared to 98th last year.  Bangladesh has scored an overall score of 2.68 making it the third most peaceful country in South Asia placed behind Bhutan and Nepal. Afghanistan has been ranked as the least peaceful country in the South Asian region.
