02.02.23 Budget 2023-24 in brief

1. Capital expenditure hiked by 33% to `10 lakh crore for infrastructure development for 2023-24 and will be at 3.3% of GDP.
2. Defence gets `5.94 lakh crore in Budget 2023-24, a jump of 13% over previous year.
3. Allocation for education hiked to `1.13 lakh crore, up by 8.3% from last year.
4. Health sector allocated `89,155 crore, a hike of around 13%.

1. ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରପତି କହିଛନ୍ତି, ଆସନ୍ତା ୨୦୪୭ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଆମକୁ ଏକ ସ୍ୱର୍ଣ୍ଣିମ ଭାରତ ଗଠନ କରିବାର ଅଛି । ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ସମୟରେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଭାରତୀୟଙ୍କ ଆତ୍ମବିଶ୍ୱାସ ଶୀର୍ଷରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଛି । ଭାରତରେ ଏବେ ଏକ ସ୍ଥିର ଓ ନିର୍ଣ୍ଣାୟକ ସରକାର ଚାଲିଛି ।

12. ଆସନ୍ତା ମେ’ ମାସରୁ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର ଆନ୍ତର୍ଜାତିକ ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦରରୁ ସିଧାସଳଖ ଆନ୍ତର୍ଜାତିକ ବିମାନ ଚଳାଚଳ କରିବ । ଏଥିପାଇଁ ବିମାନ ଚଳାଚଳ କମ୍ପାନୀ ଇଣ୍ଡିଗୋ ଓ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏମଓୟୁ ସ୍ୱାକ୍ଷରିତ ହୋଇଛି । ସିଙ୍ଗାପୁର, ଦୁବାଇ ଓ ବ୍ୟାଙ୍କକକୁ ସିଧାସଳଖ ବିମାନ ଉଡ଼ାଣ କରିବ ।
13. ଦେଶର ଜଣାଶୁଣା ଓକିଲ ତଥା ପୂର୍ବତନ ଆଇନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶାନ୍ତି ଭୂଷଣ।  ସେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଛାଡ଼ି ପରପାରିକୁ ଚାଲି ଯାଇଛନ୍ତି। ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ବେଳକୁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ୯୭ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ ହୋଇଥିଲା।

11. At least 100 undertrial prisoners (UTPs) in Odisha are languishing in jails despite being granted bail. This was revealed Tuesday during a hearing in the Supreme Court wherein the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) told the apex court that as per recent data about 5,000 UTPs were in jails across the country despite being granted bail and 1,417 of them have been released.
12. A team of Gujarat police arrested Tuesday a government school teacher here in connection with the leak of question papers for recruitment examination to the posts of junior clerks. The exams were to be conducted by the Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board (GPSSB).
13. The work demand under the MGNREGS hovered around the pre-pandemic level between July to November 2022, the Economic Survey released Tuesday said, attributing it to the ‘normalisation of the rural economy’ and ‘swift recovery from Covid-induced slowdown’.
14. The Rajasthan government has approved an additional financial provision of Rs 100 crore for strengthening the traffic management system in the state. The Integrated Traffic Management System (ITMS) is being strengthened to prevent accidents and tackle the increasing traffic pressure on roads, according to an official statement.

1. ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ମଧ୍ୟ ଛାତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କୁ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ବୁଦ୍ଧି ପ୍ରୟୋଗ କରିବାକୁ ଏବଂ ନିଜକୁ ସଠିକ୍ ମୂଲ୍ୟାଙ୍କନ କରିବାକୁ ପରାମର୍ଶ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି। ସେ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ଛାତ୍ରମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସାମର୍ଥ୍ୟ ଜାଣିବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ଏବଂ ତା’ପରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଶକ୍ତି ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ।

7. ସାଧାରଣତନ୍ତ୍ର ଦିବସ ଅବସରରେ ମହାରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରର ବିଭିନ୍ନ କାରଗାରରୁ କଏଦୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରାଯାଇଛି। ୧୮୯ ଜଣ କଏଦୀଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର କ୍ଷମା ଦେବା ପାଇଁ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ଆଦେଶ ଜାରି କରିଥିଲେ।
8. ଗତ ଜାନୁଆରୀ ୯  ତାରିଖରେ ଘରୋଇ ବିମାନ ଗୋ ଫାଷ୍ଟ  ବେଙ୍ଗାଲୁରୁରୁ ଜାତୀୟ ରାଜଧାନୀ ଦିଲ୍ଲୀ ଅଭିମୁଖେ ଉଡ଼ାଣ ଭରିବାକୁ ଥିବାବେଳେ ୫୦ ଯାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦରରେ ଛାଡ଼ି ଚାଲିଯାଇଥିଲା। ୫୫ ଜଣ ଯାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ଛାଡ଼ି ବିମାନ ପଳାଇ ଯିବା ମହଙ୍ଗା ପଡ଼ିଛି। ଏହି ଗୁରୁତର ଅବହଳା ପାଇଁ ବେସାମରିକ ବିମାନ ଚଳାଚଳ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣାଳୟ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଉକ୍ତ ବିମାନକୁ ୧୦ ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କା ଫାଇନ୍‌ କରାଯାଇଛି।
