1.The Union government Wednesday increased the dearness allowance (DA) by 3 percentage points effective from July 1 this year, benefitting more than 1 crore employees and pensioners ahead of the Diwali festival.

3.ଦିଲ୍ଲୀରେ ବାୟୁ ପ୍ରଦୂଷଣକୁ ହ୍ରାସ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସରକାର ଅନେକ ପଦ୍ଧତି ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଏଥିପାଇଁ ପ୍ରତିବର୍ଷ ପୁରୁଣା ଡିଜେଲ ଏବଂ ପେଟ୍ରୋଲ ଯାନବାହାନ ଚଳାଚଳ ଉପରେ ପ୍ରତିବନ୍ଧକ ଲଗାଇବାକୁ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ନିଆଯାଉଛି।
