- India on Wednesday reported a total of 4,575 new COVID-19 infections, taking the Covid tally to 4,29,75,883. According to the Union Health Ministry data, the active cases dipped to 46,962.
- The ED said on Wednesday it has attached immovable and movable properties in the form of lands, buildings and shareholdings worth ₹ 1,984 crore belonging to Karvy Stock Broking and its chairman C Parathasarathy and others in a money laundering case.

- The National Medical Commission (NMC) on 09 Mar announced that the upper age limit for appearing in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2022 has been removed. The age limit for applicants belonging to the general category was 25 years, while the same for SC, ST and OBC candidates was 30 years.
- Union Cabinet has cleared a proposal for amendment of Second Schedule of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 for specifying the rate of royalty in respect of Glauconite, Potash, Emerald, Platinum Group of Metals, Andalusite, Sillimanite, and Molybdenum.

- Apart from successful vaccination of people against COVID-19, Odisha has topped the list of full immunisation in the country with 90.5 per cent coverage, a senior health department official said.
- The state government Tuesday launched a Malaria Prediction and Planning Toolkit (MPPT) to strengthen early warning systems and health decision making for Malaria.

- ଗତ ପାଞ୍ଚ ବର୍ଷ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ଡ୍ରାଇଭିଂ ଲାଇସେନ୍ସ ନେବାରେ ମହିଳାଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ୩୩ ପ୍ରତିଶତ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ହୋଇଛି । ଗତ ୨୦୧୭ରେ ୨୫ ହଜାର ୮୬ ଜଣ ମହିଳା ସାରା ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଡ୍ରାଇଭିଂ ଲାଇସେନ୍ସ ପାଇଥିଲେ । ୨୦୨୧ ଏହି ସଂଖ୍ୟା ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇ ୩୩୬୬୬ ହୋଇଛି।
- କଳାହାଣ୍ଡି ଜିଲ୍ଲା ବିଶ୍ବନାଥପୁରର ହୀରାନୀଳା କଲେଜ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ରମେଶ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ସାହୁଙ୍କ ଘରେ ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସର ରେଡ୍ । ଆୟ ବହିର୍ଭୂତ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଠୁଳ ଅଭିଯୋଗରେ ଏକକାଳୀନ ୫ଟି ସ୍ଥାନରେ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା ରେଡ୍ । ଚଢାଉ ବେଳେ ୧ଲକ୍ଷ ୯୪ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କାର ନଗଦ ରାଶି ଜବତ ହୋଇଛି । ମୋଟ୍ ୫ କୋଟିରୁ ଅଧିକ ଟଙ୍କାର ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଜବତ କରିଛି ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସ ।

- ରୁଷର ଏକ ଖବର କାଗଜ ନୋବାୟ ଗେଜେଟ୍ ଖୋଲିଛି ୟୁକ୍ରେନକୁ ନେଇ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରପତି ଭ୍ଲାଦିମିର ପୁଟିନଙ୍କ ଯୋଜନା । ୟୁକ୍ରେନକୁ କିଛି ଏପରି ଭାବେ ବିଭାଜନ କରିବାକୁ ଚାହୁଁଛନ୍ତି ପୁଟିନ, ଯେପରି ରାଜଧାନୀ କିଭ୍ ସହ ଦେଶର ମଧ୍ୟ ଏବଂ ପୂର୍ବାଞ୍ଚଳରେ ରୁଷ ସମର୍ଥିତ ରହିବେ। ଅନ୍ୟପଟେ ୟୁରୋପକୁ ଲାଗିଥିବା ପଶ୍ଚିମାଞ୍ଚଳକୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଛଡା ଯିବ।
