- କଂଗ୍ରେସରୁ ଇସ୍ତଫା ଦେଲେ ବରିଷ୍ଠ ନେତା ତଥା ପୂର୍ବତନ ଢେଙ୍କାନାଳ ବିଧାୟକ ନବୀନ ନନ୍ଦ । ୨୦୧୯ ମସିହାରେ କଂଗ୍ରେସରେ ଯୋଗଦାନ କରିଥିବା ଏହି ବରିଷ୍ଠ ନେତା ଦଳର ପ୍ରାଥମିକ ସଦସ୍ୟ ପଦରୁ ଇସ୍ତଫା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଛନ୍ତି ।
- ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମକୁ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ଦେଇ ବିଭାଗୀୟ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସମୀର ରଞ୍ଜନ ଦାଶ କହିଛନ୍ତି, ଆଶା କରିବା ପୂଜା ଛୁଟି ପରେ ସ୍ଥିତି ଭଲ ହୋଇଯିବ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ କ୍ଲାସ ପାଇଁ ସ୍କୁଲ ଖୋଲିବ। ତେବେ ଏଯାଏଁ ଅନଲାଇନରେ କ୍ଲାସ ଚାଲୁ ରହିଛି । ଅଭିଭାବକମାନେ ଦେଖିବା କଥା ଯେ ମୋବାଇଲ ଫୋନ ବ୍ୟବହାର କେବଳ ପାଠପଢା ପାଇଁ ପିଲାମାନେ କରିବେ।
- କନ୍ଧମାଳ ଓ ବୌଦ୍ଧ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ୭ଟି ବ୍ଲକ୍ ପାଇଁ ୬୫୮ କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କାରେ ମେଗା ପାନୀୟଜଳ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପକୁ ମଞ୍ଜୁର କରିଛନ୍ତି । ଏହି ମେଗା ପାନୀୟଜଳ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ ଦ୍ବାରା କନ୍ଧମାଳ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ଫୁଲବାଣୀ, ଫିରିଙ୍ଗିଆ, ଖଜୁରୀପଡ଼ା, ଚକାପାଦ, ଜି.ଉଦୟଗିରି ଓ କ.ନୁଆଗାଁରେ ପାନୀୟ ଜଳ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପକୁ ମୋହର ମାରିଛନ୍ତି ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ।
- ବାଂଲାଦେଶ ଆନ୍ତର୍ଜାତୀୟ ସୀମା ରହିଥିବା ୩ ରାଜ୍ୟ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ୫୦ କିଲୋମିଟର ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ BSF ବା ବର୍ଡର ସିକ୍ୟୁରିଟି ଫୋର୍ସର କ୍ଷମତା ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇବ । ଆସାମ, ପଶ୍ଚିମବଙ୍ଗ, ପଞ୍ଜାବ ସୀମାରେ BSFର ଅଧିକାର ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରିବାକୁ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ନେଇଛନ୍ତି କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାର । ଏବେ BSFର କ୍ଷମତା ୧୫ କିମି ସୀମା କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ରହିଛି । ଅର୍ଥାତ ଏବେ ମାଜିଷ୍ଟ୍ରେଟଙ୍କ ବିନା ଅନୁମତିରେ ସୀମା କ୍ଷେତ୍ରଠାରୁ ୫୦ କିଲୋମିଟର କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବିଏସଏଫ୍ ସର୍ଚ୍ଚ ଅପରେସନ ଓ ଗିରଫ କରିପାରିବ ।
- କୋଭାକ୍ସିନକୁ ବିଶ୍ୱ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସଂଗଠନର ସ୍ବୀକୃତି ନେଇ ଭାରତ ବାୟୋଟେକ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ସମସ୍ତ ବୈଷୟିକ ପ୍ରମାଣପତ୍ର ଦିଆସାରିଛି। ଏହା କୌଣସି ରାଜନୈତିକ ପ୍ରସଙ୍ଗ ନୁହେଁ, ବିଶ୍ୱ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସଂଗଠନର ବୈଷୟିକ କମିଟି ଏ ନେଇ ଅନୁଧ୍ୟାନ କରୁଛନ୍ତି । ଅଳ୍ପଦିନ ଭିତରେ covaxinକୁ ବିଶ୍ୱ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସଂଗଠନର ସ୍ବୀକୃତି ମିଳିବ ବୋଲି ବୈଦେଶିକ ସଚିବ କହିଛନ୍ତି ।
- ଶୀଘ୍ର ସ୍ଥିତିରେ ସୁଧାର ନଆସିଲେ ଚୀନ୍ ଭଳି ଭାରତରେ ବି ଅନ୍ଧାର ଛାଇ ଯିବାର ଆଶଙ୍କା ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହେଇଛି। ସରକାରୀ ହିସାବରେ ଦେଶରେ ୧୩୫ ପାଓ୍ବାର ପ୍ଲାଣ୍ଟରେ ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ୍ ଉତ୍ପାଦନ କରାଯାଇଥାଏ। ହେଲେ ଏଥିରୁ ୧୮ଟି ପ୍ଲାଣ୍ଟରେ କୋଇଲା ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଶେଷ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି। ୨୦ଟି ପ୍ଲାଣ୍ଟ ଏମିତି ଅଛନ୍ତି ଯାହାଙ୍କ ପାଖରେ ମାତ୍ର ୭ ଦିନଠାରୁ କିଛିଦିନ ଅଧିକ ଷ୍ଟକ ରହିଛି।

- କୋଭିଡ୍-୧୯ ଏବଂ ଏହାକୁ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ରଖି ଗ୍ରହଣ କରାଯାଇଥିବା ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ହେତୁ ବିଶ୍ୱ ଋଣ ପରିମାଣ ୨୨୬ ଲକ୍ଷ କୋଟି ଡଲାରରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଛି । ଅନ୍ତର୍ଜାତୀୟ ମୁଦ୍ରା ପାଣ୍ଠି(ଆଇଏମ୍ଏଫ୍) ପ୍ରଦତ୍ତ ତଥ୍ୟରୁ ଏହା ଜଣାପଡ଼ିଛି । ୨୦୨୦ରେ ଭାରତର ଋଣ ଏହାର ମୋଟ ଘରୋଇ ଉତ୍ପାଦ(ଜିଡିପି)ର ୮୯.୬% ଥିବାବେଳେ ଏ ବର୍ଷ ୯୦.୬%କୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇବା ନେଇ ଆଇଏମ୍ଏଫ୍ ଆକଳନ କରିଛି । ୨୦୨୦ରେ ବିଶ୍ୱର ମୋଟ ଋଣ ପରିମାଣରେ ବିକଶିତ ଅର୍ଥନୀତି ଏବଂ ଚୀନ୍ର ଭାଗ ୯୦%ରୁ ଅଧିକ ଥିଲା ।

- India recorded 15,823 fresh coronavirus cases, taking the infection tally to 3,40,01,743, while the national Covid recovery rate increased to 98.06 per cent, according to the Union Health Ministry's data at 8 am.

Along with Aryan Khan's plea, the bail pleas of two other accused in the case - Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha - has also been adjourned. While Aryan and Arbaaz are presently lodged in the Arthur Road Jail, Munmun is lodged in the Byculla Jail.

- ନୂଆ ପୌର ନିର୍ବାଚନ ଆଇନରେ ସଂଶୋଧନକୁ ରାଜ୍ୟପାଳ ଅନୁମୋଦନ ଦେଲା ପରେ ଆଇନ ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଗେଜେଟ୍ ବିଜ୍ଞପ୍ତି ଜାରି ହୋଇଛି। ସଂଶୋଧିତ ଆଇନ ଅନୁଯାୟୀ ଏଣିକି ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ ନିର୍ବାଚନ ପରି ପୌର ନିର୍ବାଚନରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସଂରକ୍ଷଣ ସର୍ବାଧିକ ୫୦% ଭିତରେ ସୀମିତ ରଖାଯିବ।

- ନବରଙ୍ଗପୁର ଜିଲା ପାପଡାହାଣ୍ଡି ସହିଦ ପୀଠ ପରିସରରେ ୧୦୦ ଫୁଟ ଉଚ୍ଚରେ ଜାତୀୟ ପତାକା ଉଡ଼ିବ। ଏଥିପାଇଁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି। ନବରଙ୍ଗପୁର ଜିଲା ପାପଡାହାଣ୍ଡି ତୁରୀ ନଦୀ କୂଳରେ ଥିବା ସହିଦ ମିନାର ପରିସରରେ ୧୦୦ ଫୁଟ ଉଚ୍ଚତାରେ ଜାତୀୟ ପତାକା ଉଡ଼ିବ।

- India reported 18,166 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, the lowest single-day rise in nearly seven months. The country also reported 214 deaths due to coronavirus.
- Union Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Patil Danve on Sunday reviewed the progress of the 272-km-long Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Railway Line (USBRL) project and said it should be completed by 2023.
- Railways has successfully operated two long haul freight trains Trishul and Garuda for the first time over South-Central Railway. Railway Ministry said, Trishul is the first long haul of South-Central Railway comprising of three freight trains of 177 wagons.
- Security forces have detained over 700 people in J&K in response to the killing of seven civilians, including those from the Kashmiri Pandit, Sikh and Muslim communities, in six days.
- An earthquake of 3.0 magnitude was recorded in Kalaburagi on Sunday, the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) said. The earthquake was felt two km north east of Kodadur in Kalgi Taluk of Kalaburagi district at 6.05 AM.
- Kannada actor Satyajith passed away at the Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital in Karnataka's Bengaluru. Originally named Syed Nizamuddin, the actor began his journey in the film line as an antagonist. Satyajith has acted in over 600 films. He was 72 yrs.

- The Centre on Saturday appointed Chief Justices (CJ) to eight High Courts and approved the transfer of five other Chief Justices.The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended the transfer of the five Chief Justices on September 16.
