- ଉଚ୍ଚ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ରୂପାନ୍ତରୀକରଣ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଅଧୀନରେ ନୂତନ ଭାବେ ୮୮୯ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ପାଇଁ ୫୩୩ କୋଟି ୪୦ ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କାର ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପକୁ ଓମ୍ବାଡିସି ପରିଷଦ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ମଞ୍ଜୁରୀ ମିଳିଛି।
- ପାଣିପାଗ ବିଭାଗର ପୂର୍ବାନୁମାନ ଅନୁଯାୟୀ, ଆସନ୍ତା ୨୪ ଘଣ୍ଟା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସୁନ୍ଦରଗଡ, ଝାରସୁଗୁଡା ଏବଂ ବରଗଡ ଜିଲାର ଗୋଟିଏରୁ ଦୁଇଟି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରହିଛି। ସେହି ଜିଲାଗୁଡିକୁ ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ସତର୍କ ସୂଚନା ଜାରି କରାଯାଇଛି।
- ଶିକ୍ଷାବର୍ଷ ୨୦୨୧-୨୨ରେ ବି.ଏଡ୍ ଓ ବିପିଏଚ୍ଇଡି ପାଠ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ନାମ ଲେଖାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଅକ୍ଟୋବର ୭ରୁ ପ୍ରବେଶିକା ପରୀକ୍ଷା ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେବ। ଏହି ପରୀକ୍ଷା ୧୦ ତାରିଖ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଚାଲିବ। ଅନ୍ଲାଇନ୍ (ସଞ୍ଚାର ଜରିଆ)ରେ ଏହି ପରୀକ୍ଷା ହେବ। ସେପ୍ଟେମ୍ବର ୨୫ ତାରିଖରୁ ପ୍ରବେଶପତ୍ର ୱେବସାଇଟ www.samsodisha.gov.in ରେ ଉପଲବ୍ଧ ହେଉଛି।
- ବିଭିନ୍ନ ବୈଷୟିକ ପାଠ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ନାମ ଲେଖାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଯୁଗ୍ମ ପ୍ରବେଶିକା ପରୀକ୍ଷା (ଓଜେଇଇ) ଦ୍ବାରା ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ପ୍ରବେଶିକା ପରୀକ୍ଷା ଫଳ ବୁଧବାର ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟାରେ ପ୍ରକାଶ ପାଇଛି। ଏ ବର୍ଷ ସମୁଦାୟ ୬୫,୭୬୩ ପରୀକ୍ଷାର୍ଥୀ ପଞ୍ଜୀକରଣ କରିଥିବା ବେଳେ ୪୯,୩୬୦ ବିଦ୍ୟାର୍ଥୀ ପରୀକ୍ଷା ଦେଇଥିଲେ। ତନ୍ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ୪୯,୨୭୯ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀ ନାମ ଲେଖାଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସ୍ଥାନ(ରାଙ୍କ) ପାଇଛନ୍ତି।
- ଆସନ୍ତା ଟ୍ବେଣ୍ଟି୨୦ ବିଶ୍ବକପ୍ ପରେ ଭାରତୀୟ କ୍ରିକେଟ୍ ଦଳର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଶିକ୍ଷକ ଭାବେ ରବି ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକାଳ ସମାପ୍ତ ହେଉଛି।

- ପ୍ରତିରକ୍ଷା ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ରାଜନାଥ ସିଂହଙ୍କ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷତାରେ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ‘ଡିଫେନ୍ସ୍ ଆକ୍ୟୁଜିସନ୍ କାଉନ୍ସିଲ୍’ (ଡିଏସି) ବୈଠକରେ ଭାରତୀୟ ସଶସ୍ତ୍ର ବାହିନୀର ଆଧୁନିକିକରଣ ଏବଂ ପରିଚାଳନା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ‘ଆକ୍ସେପ୍ଟାନ୍ସ୍ ଅଫ୍ ନେସେସିଟି’ (ଏଓଏନ୍) ପାଇଁ ‘କ୍ୟାପିଟାଲ୍ ଆକ୍ୟୁଜିସନ୍’ ୧୩,୧୬୫ କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କାର ଅସ୍ତ୍ରଶସ୍ତ୍ର କିଣା ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବକୁ ମଞ୍ଜୁରି ମିଳିଛି। ଅନୁମୋଦିତ ସମୁଦାୟ ଅର୍ଥରାଶିର ୮୭% ବା ୧୧,୪୮୬ କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କାର ଖରିଦ ସ୍ବଦେଶ ନିର୍ମିତ ଅସ୍ତ୍ରଶସ୍ତ୍ର ଖରିଦ କରାଯିବ।
- ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ମମତା ବାନାର୍ଜୀ ଓ ବିଜେପି ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀ ପ୍ରିୟଙ୍କା ଟିବ୍ରେଓ୍ଵାଲଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ହାଇଭୋଲଟେଜ୍ ମୁକାବିଲା ହେଉଛି। ଏହି କ୍ଷେତ୍ରର ସୁରକ୍ଷା ପାଇଁ କଡା ସୁରକ୍ଷା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଗ୍ରହଣ କରାଯାଇଛି।
- ଗୋଆ ପୂର୍ବତନ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଲୁଇଜିହ୍ନୋ ଫଲେରିଓ ଟିଏମସିରେ ଯୋଗ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି। ଲୁଇଜିହ୍ନୋଙ୍କ ସହ ୧୦ ଜଣ ବୁଧବାର ଟିଏମସିର ସଦସ୍ୟତା ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଏହା ପୂର୍ବରୁ କଂଗ୍ରେସ ଛାଡିବା ସହ ଫୁଲେରିଓ ପଶ୍ଚିମବଙ୍ଗ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିଥିଲେ।
- ପଶ୍ଚିମବଙ୍ଗରେ ଆଜି ତିନୋଟି ବିଧାନସଭା କ୍ଷେତ୍ରର ଉପନିର୍ବାଚନ ପାଇଁ ମତଦାନ ହେଉଛି । ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ମମତା ବାନାର୍ଜୀଙ୍କ ଆସନ ଭବାନୀପୁର ଆସନ ସହ ସମସେରଗଞ୍ଜ ଏବଂ ଜାଙ୍ଗିପୁର ପାଇଁ ମତଦାନ ହେଉଛି । ଭବାନୀପୁର ଆସନ ପାଇଁ ଏଥର ଟିଏମସି ଓ ବିଜେପି ମଧ୍ୟ କଡା ଟକ୍କର ହେବ । ମମତା ବାନାର୍ଜୀଙ୍କ ବିରୋଧରେ ମଇଦାନରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି ବିଜେପିର ପ୍ରୀୟଙ୍କା ତ୍ରିବେଓ୍ବାଲ।

- India added 26,041 new coronavirus infections taking the total tally of COVID-19 cases to 3,36,78,786, while the active cases declined to 2,99,620, the lowest in 191 days, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Monday.

- With 26,041 fresh Covid cases recorded in the last 24 hours, India's daily tally this morning was eight per cent lesser than yesterday. The active cases account for less than 1 per cent of the overall cases, the Health Ministry latest data shows.

- ମହାରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଉଦ୍ଧବ ଠାକେରଙ୍କ ବିରୋଧରେ ରାଜ୍ୟପାଳଙ୍କୁ ଭେଟିଲେ କଂଗ୍ରେସ ନେତା । ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଆସନରେ ବସିଥିବା ଉଦ୍ଧବ ଠାକେରଙ୍କ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ଅସନ୍ତୋଷ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରି ଖୋଦ ତାଙ୍କରି ମେଣ୍ଟର ନେତା ମେଳି ବାନ୍ଧିଲେଣି । କଂଗ୍ରେସ ନେତା ବିଶ୍ୱବନ୍ଧୁ ରାୟ ମହାରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ରାଜ୍ୟପାଳ ମଗତ ସିଂହ କେଶିୟାରୀଙ୍କୁ ଭେଟିଛନ୍ତି । ଏବଂ ଉଦ୍ଧବ ଠାକେର କ୍ଷେତ୍ରୀୟ ରାଜନୀତି କରୁଥିବା ଅଭିଯୋଗ ଆଣିଛନ୍ତି ।

- ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ପୂର୍ବ ରେଳପଥର ନୂଆ ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ମହାପ୍ରବନ୍ଧକ ବା ଏଜିଏମ୍ ଭାବେ ଅତୁଲ୍ୟ ସିହ୍ନା ଦାୟିତ୍ବ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଏହା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ସେ ଇଷ୍ଟର୍ଣ୍ଣ ରେଲ୍ୱେର ଚିଫ୍ ୱାର୍କସପ୍ ଇଞ୍ଜିନିୟର ଭାବେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରୁଥିଲେ।

- ରାଜଧାନୀର ରୋହିଣୀସ୍ଥିତ ଅଦାଲତରେ ବିପକ୍ଷ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ଗୁଳିରେ ଜଣେ କୁଖ୍ୟାତ ଅପରାଧୀର ମୃତ୍ୟୁର ଦିନକ ପରେ ଘଟଣାର କ୍ରାଇମବ୍ରାଞ୍ଚ ତଦନ୍ତ ନିର୍ଦେଶ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି। ଏଥିସହିତ ପୁଲିସ ଆୟୁକ୍ତ ରାକେଶ ଆସ୍ଥାନା ଶନିବାର ଏକାବେଳକରେ ୧୧ ବରିଷ୍ଠ ଆଇପିଏସ୍ ଅଧିକାରୀଙ୍କ ବଦଳି କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଏମାନଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟତୀତ ୨୯ ପୁଲିସ ଅଧିକାରୀଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ବଦଳି କରାଯାଇଛି।
- ବାତ୍ୟା ‘ଗୁଲାବ’ ପ୍ରଭାବରେ ରାଜଧାନୀ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର ଏବଂ କଟକରେ ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ସହ ଘଣ୍ଟା ପ୍ରତି ୫୫ କି.ମି ପବନ ବହିବ ବୋଲି ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର ପାଣିପାଗ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଆକଳନ କରିଛି। ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱରରେ ବିଜୁଳି ଘଡ଼ଘଡ଼ି ସହ ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ହେବ। ଗୋଟିଏରୁ ଦୁଇଟି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଘଣ୍ଟା ପ୍ରତି ୨/୩ ସେଣ୍ଟିମିଟର ବର୍ଷା ହୋଇପାରେ।
- ବାତ୍ୟା ‘ଗୁଲାବ’ ନାମକରଣ କରିଛି ପାକିସ୍ତାନ। ଗୁଲାବର ଅର୍ଥ ‘ଗୋଲାପ ଫୁଲ’। ଉଚ୍ଚାରଣ ‘ଗୁଲ-ଆବ୍’ ବୋଲି ଭାରତୀୟ ପାଣିପାଗ ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଜଣାପଡିଛି। ବିଶ୍ବ ପାଣିପାଗ ସଙ୍ଗଠନ(ଡବ୍ଲ୍ୟୁଏମଓ) ବାତ୍ୟା ନାମକରଣ ଉପରେ ଏକ ତାଲିକା ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିଥାଏ।
- କିଟ୍ ଓ କିସ୍ରେ ଭାରତର ପ୍ରଥମ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣକାଳୀନ ଆବାସିକ ଚେସ୍ ଏକାେଡମୀ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ହେବ।ଦେଶର ଏକମାତ୍ର ତଥା ପ୍ରଥମ ଚେସ୍ ଏକାଡେମୀ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା କରାଯିବା ନେଇ ସର୍ବସମ୍ମତିକ୍ରମେ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ନିଆଯାଇଛି ବୋଲି ସଂଘର ସଭାପତି ସଞ୍ଜୟ କପୁର, ସମ୍ପାଦକ ଭରତ ସିଂହ ଚୌହାନ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ପ୍ରଥମ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟରେ ଏଠାରେ ୧୦୦ଜଣ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରାଯିବ। ସେମାନେ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଆବାସିକ ଭାବେ ଏଠାରେ ରହି ଶିକ୍ଷା ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବେ।
