ପ୍ରଥମ ବିଶ୍ୱ ଓଡିଆ ଭାଷା ସମ୍ମିଳନୀ ଅବସରରେ ଗତକାଲି ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ନବୀନ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା କଳା ମଣ୍ଡଳ ପ୍ରାଙ୍ଗଣରେ ଉଦ୍‌ଘାଟିତ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି ଅକ୍ଷର ଭୂମି।

ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଭାଷାବିତ୍‌ ପ୍ରଫେସର ଦେବୀପ୍ରସନ୍ନ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକଙ୍କୁ ଓଡିଆ ଭାଷାର ବିକାଶ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ତାଙ୍କର ଜୀବନବ୍ୟାପୀ ସାଧନା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରଥମ ବିଶ୍ବ ଓଡିଆ ଭାଷା ସମ୍ମାନରେ ସମ୍ମାନିତ କରିଥିଲେ। ପୁରସ୍କାର ସ୍ବରୂପ ତାଙ୍କୁ ମାନପତ୍ର ଓ ୨୦ ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା।

କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଡ. ମନସୁଖ୍‌ ମାଣ୍ଡଭିୟ ଆଭାସି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଏମ୍‌ସ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱରର ଧର୍ମଶାଳା, ନୂତନ ଟ୍ରମା କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଏବଂ ହାଇ ଏନର୍ଜୀ ଲିନିୟର୍‌ ଆକ୍ସେଲରେଟର୍‌ (ହେଲା) ମେସିନ୍‌ର ଉଦ୍‌ଘାଟନ କରିଛନ୍ତି।

କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରାଳୟ ସୂତ୍ରରୁ ମିଳିଥିବା ସୂଚନା ଅନୁଯାୟୀ ଗତ ବର୍ଷ ସରକାର ୧୫୭ ନୂଆ ମେଡିକାଲ କଲେଜ ଘୋଷଣା କରିଥିଲେ। ଏଥିରେ ମହାରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରର ୨, ହିମାଚଳ ପ୍ରଦେଶର ୩ ଏବଂ ଉତ୍ତରପ୍ରଦେଶର ୨୭ ମେଡିକାଲ କଲେଜ ସାମିଲ ଥିଲା। ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ମେଡିକାଲ କଲେଜ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା କରିବାର ଏହା ଏକ ପାଇଲଟ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ। ଏହି ଆଧାରରେ ଦେଶର ସବୁ ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ମେଡିକାଲ କଲେଜ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରାଯିବ।

ମାଳଦ୍ୱୀପରୁ ସମସ୍ତ ଭାରତୀୟ ସୈନ୍ୟଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାହାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ମାଲେର ଦାବି ଉପରେ ଭାରତ ଓ ମାଳଦ୍ୱୀପ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଶୁକ୍ରବାର ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟ ଆଲୋଚନା ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଛି।

ମହାରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରର ସୋଲାପୁର ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଏକ ଅଭାବନୀୟ ଘଟଣା ଘଟିଛି। ଯେତେ ବୁଝାଶୁଝା ପରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ପୁଅ ଅବାଟରେ ଯିବାରୁ ବାପା ୧୪ ବର୍ଷ ପୁଅଙ୍କୁ ଥଣ୍ଡା ପାନୀୟରେ ବିଷ ଦେଇ ହତ୍ୟା କରିଥିବା ଘଟଣା ସାମ୍ନାକୁ ଆସିଛି।

ଅକ୍ଷର ଭୂମିର ଲୋକାର୍ପଣ କଲେ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ନବୀନ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକ।  ପ୍ରଥମ ବିଶ୍ବ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଭାଷା ସମ୍ମିଳନୀ । ଐତିହ୍ୟ ନଗରୀ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସ୍ଥଳରେ ଏହି ସମ୍ମିଳନୀ ଓଡିଆ ଭାଷାର ଜୟଗାନ କରିବ ।

ଇଡି ସ୍ବତନ୍ତ୍ର ଅଦାଲତକୁ କହିଛି ଯେ ସୋରେନ୍ ରାଞ୍ଚିରେ ୧୨ ଟି ସଂଲଗ୍ନ ପ୍ଲଟ୍ ଅଛି ଯାହା ସମୁଦାୟ ୮.୫ ଏକର ଅଟେ। ସୋରେନ୍ ଏଗୁଡିକର ଅବୈଧ ଅଧିକାରରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ସେଗୁଡିକୁ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରୁଛନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ସେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଏହି ସୂଚନାକୁ ଲୁଚାଇ ରଖିଥିଲେ।
