- Freedom fighter and recipient of the President’s Award Biswanath Das of Balikuda in Jagatsinghpur passed away at the age of 106 Tuesday, family sources said. Das died of old-age ailments at SCB Medical College Hospital in Cuttack

- The district administration has clamped prohibitory orders under section 144 of CrPC at the Dhabaleswar shrine in Athagarh of Cuttack district. It will remain in force for indefinite period, said Athagarh sub-collector. The decision was taken in view of huge congregation of devotees on Bada Osha and Karttik Brata as the communication on the suspension bridge has been restricted for inspection. Similarly, ferrying devotees to the famous Shiva seat by boat is not feasible.
- Police here on Monday seized 850 grams of brown sugar in Mangalaghat area here and arrested four persons in connection with the case. Acting on reliable inputs, a joint team of Baseli Sahi police and STF conducted a raid in the area and arrested two peddlers from West Bengal and two from Odisha.
- The winter session of Parliament could be held in the old building as some construction work of the new building may stretch beyond the stipulated completion time, sources said on Monday. - ଆଗାମୀ ୨୦୨୫ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଭାରତ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେଶକୁ ସବୁଜ ଶକ୍ତି ରପ୍ତାନୀ କରିବାକୁ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ରଖିଛି। ଅନ୍ୟପକ୍ଷରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶାକୁ ଦେଶର ଶିଳ୍ପାୟନର ପ୍ରମୁଖ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଭାବରେ ପରିଣତ କରିବାକୁ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ରଖିଥିବାରୁ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ମଧ୍ୟ ସବୁଜ ଶକ୍ତିକୁ ବିଶେଷ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱ ଦେଉଛି।
- ଜାତୀୟ ଉଦ୍ୟାନ ଶିମିଳିପାଳ ଅଭୟାରଣ୍ୟ ନଭେମ୍ବର ୧ତାରିଖରୁ ଖୋଲିବା ନେଇ ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ବିଧିବଦ୍ଧ ବିଜ୍ଞପ୍ତି ପ୍ରକାଶ ପାଇଛି। ବାରିପଦା ପିଠାବଟା ପ୍ରବେଶ ଫାଟକ ଦେଇ ଅଗ୍ରୀମ ବୁକିଂ କିମ୍ବା ପ୍ରଥମେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଥିବା ୨୫ଟି ଗାଡି ଏବଂ ଯଶିପୁର କାଳିଆଣୀ ପ୍ରବେଶ ଫାଟକ ପଟୁ ୩୫ଟି ଗାଡିକୁ ବ୍ୟାଘ୍ର ସଂରକ୍ଷଣ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପକୁ ପ୍ରବେଶ ପାଇଁ ସକାଳ ୬ଟାରୁ ୯ଟା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଅନୁମତି ପତ୍ର ନେଇ ପାରିବେ।
- ୨୦୧୯ର ଏକ ଘୃଣ୍ୟ ଭାଷଣ ମାମଲାରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ତିନି ବର୍ଷ ଜେଲ ଦଣ୍ଡ ସହିତ ୨,୦୦୦ ଟଙ୍କାର ଆର୍ଥିକ ଜରିମାନାରେ ଦଣ୍ଡିତ କରାଯିବାର ଗୋଟିଏ ଦିନ ପରେ ତାଙ୍କ ବିରୋଧରେ ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରାଯାଇଛି। ତାଙ୍କ କାରାଦଣ୍ଡର ଅବଧି ଦୁଇ ବର୍ଷରୁ ଅଧିକ ହୋଇଥିବାରୁ ଖାନ ବିଧାନସଭା ସଦସ୍ୟତା ହରାଇଛନ୍ତି।
- ଆମେରିକାର ସଂସଦର ନିମ୍ନ ସଦନର ବାଚସ୍ପତି ନାନସି ପେଲୋସିଙ୍କ ସ୍ବାମୀ ପଲ ପେଲୋସିଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ପ୍ରାଣାନ୍ତକ ଆକ୍ରମଣ ହୋଇଛି । ଶୁକ୍ରବାର ସକାଳେ ଜଣେ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ସାନ ଫ୍ରାନସିସକୋସ୍ଥିତ ପେଲୋସିଙ୍କ ଘରର ଝରକା ଭାଙ୍ଗି ଘରେ ଅନୁପ୍ରବେଶ କରିଥିଲା ।
- ୟୁକ୍ରେନ ଡର୍ଟି ବମ୍ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରୁଛି ଓ ତାହାକୁ ରୁଷ ଉପରେ ପ୍ରୟୋଗ କରିବ ବୋଲି ରୁଷ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରାଯାଉଛି । ଯଦି ୟୁକ୍ରେନ ଡର୍ଟି ବମ ପ୍ରୟୋଗ କରେ ତେବେ ପରମାଣୁ ଅସ୍ତ୍ର ପ୍ରୟୋଗ କରିବାକୁ ଧମକ ଦେଇଛି ରୁଷ ।
- ଆଗାମୀ ୩୦ ଅକ୍ଟୋବର ଯାଏଁ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ପାଗ ମୁଖ୍ୟତ ଶୁଖିଲା ରହିବାର ସମ୍ଭାବନା ଅଛି। ୩୧ତାରିଖ ବେଳକୁ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଗଜପତି, ରାୟଗଡା, କୋରାପୁଟ ଏବଂ ମାଲକାନଗିରି ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ରୁ ଦୁଇଟି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ହାଲୁକାରୁ ମଧ୍ୟମ ଧରଣର ବର୍ଷା ସମ୍ଭାବନା
