- କ୍ୟାପଟେନ ଅମରିନ୍ଦର ସିଂ ରାଜଭବନରେ ରାଜ୍ୟପାଳଙ୍କୁ ଭେଟି ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପଦରୁ ଇସ୍ତଫା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି । ଅମରିନ୍ଦରଙ୍କ ସହ ତାଙ୍କ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀମଣ୍ଡଳ ମଧ୍ୟ ଇସ୍ତଫା ରାଜ୍ୟପାଳଙ୍କୁ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି । ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ଥର ପାଇଁ ପଞ୍ଜାବର ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ହୋଇଥିବା ଅମରିନ୍ଦର ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ପାଳିର ୫ ବର୍ଷ ପୂରଣ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଇସ୍ତଫା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ।
- ସମାଜର ପୂର୍ବତନ ସମ୍ପାଦିକା ମନୋରମା ମହାପାତ୍ର ଙ୍କ ୮୭ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସରେ ପରଲୋକ ହୋଇଛି । ୧୯୭୬ରେ ସେ ସାହିତ୍ୟ ପାଇଁ ଝଙ୍କାର ସମ୍ମାନ ପାଇଥିଲେ । ୧୯୮୪ରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ସାହିତ୍ୟ ଏକାଡେମୀ ପୁରସ୍କାର ମିଳିଥିଲା । ସେ ୧୯୮୨ରୁ ୧୯୯୦ ଯାଏଁ ଉତ୍କଳ ସାହିତ୍ୟ ସମାଜର ସମ୍ପାଦକ ଓ ୧୯୯୧ରୁ ୧୯୯୪ ଯାଏଁ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ସାହିତ୍ୟ ଏକାଡେମୀର ସଭାପତି ଥିଲେ ।
- ଯୁକ୍ତ ତିନି ପ୍ରଥମ ବର୍ଷ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ଲାଗି ଆସନ୍ତା ୨୦ ତାରିଖରୁ ଶ୍ରେଣୀଗୃହ ପାଠପଢ଼ା ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେବ । ଏନେଇ ଉଚ୍ଚଶିକ୍ଷା ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ବିଜ୍ଞପ୍ତି ପ୍ରକାଶ ପାଇଛି । କରୋନା ଗାଇଡଲାଇନ୍ ମାନି ଶ୍ରେଣୀଗୃହରେ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦାନ କରାଯିବ । କ୍ୟାମ୍ପସ ଓ ଶ୍ରେଣୀଗୃହରେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ମାସ୍କ ପିନ୍ଧିବାକୁ ପଡ଼ିବ । ଶ୍ରେଣୀଗୃହ, ଲାଇବ୍ରେରୀ ସହ ଲାବୋରେଟୋରିରେ ସାମାଜିକ ଦୂରତା ରକ୍ଷା କରାଯିବ ।

- କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାର ବିମାନ କମ୍ପାନୀଙ୍କୁ ବଡ଼ ଆଶ୍ୱସ୍ତି ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି । ଏଣିକି ବିମାନ କମ୍ପାନୀ ମାସକୁ ୧୫ ଦିନ ଭଡ଼ା ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧାରଣ କରିପାରିବେ । ବାକି ୧୫ ଦିନ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଦିଆଯାଇଥିବା ସୂଚୀ ଅନୁସାରେ ଭଡ଼ା ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧାରଣ ହେବ । ଭଡ଼ା ଷ୍ଟକଚର ଅନୁସାରେ, ସରକାର ସବୁଠୁ କମ୍ ଓ ସବୁଠୁ ଅଧିକ ଭଡ଼ା ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧାରଣ କରୁଥିଲେ । ଏବେ ଏଥିରୁ ବିମାନ କମ୍ପାନୀଙ୍କୁ ଆଶ୍ୱସ୍ତି ମିଳିଛି । ସରକାର ମାସକୁ ୧୫ ଦିନ ଭଡ଼ା ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧାରଣ କରିବାକୁ ଥିବାବେଳେ ବାକି ୧୫ ଦିନ ବିମାନ କମ୍ପାନୀ ଚାହିଦାକୁ ଦେଖି ଭଡ଼ା ସ୍ଥିର କରିବେ ।

- ଭାରତୀୟ ଆଇନ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଏବେ ବି ଉପନିବେଶ ଢାଞ୍ଚାରେ ରହିଛି ଏବଂ ଏହାକୁ ଅଧିକ ସୁଲଭ ଏବଂ ପ୍ରଭାବୀ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଏହାର ଭାରତୀୟକରଣ ଜରୁରୀ ବୋଲି ପ୍ରଧାନ ବିଚାରପତି ଏନ୍ଭି ରମଣା କହିଛନ୍ତି।

- According to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) data of 2020, a total of 785 cases were registered under the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act. The number of cases registered was the highest in Karnataka at 184, followed by Assam at 138, West Bengal at 98, Tamil Nadu at 77 and Telangana at 62.

The two districts together accounted for 60 per cent of the new cases.
