1. Odisha on Thursday reported 1,342 fresh Covid positive cases informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department, taking the total tally to 9,83,523. A total of 1,342 new Covid positives include 775 quarantine cases and 567 are local contacts. The positivity rate today stands at 2.2%.

The Telangana High Court on 04 Aug (Wednesday) directed the state government not to release funds under the controversial government order (GO) Rt 208 issued by chief secretary Somesh Kumar, until further orders. The issue pertains to G O Rt 208 issued by the Chief Secretary on June 7 sanctioning about Rs 60 crore ‘towards pending contempt cases pending in the High Court.

It also categorises many undefined crimes where no minimum sentence was prescribed.
7. Factoring Amendment Bill, 2021 : The passed Bill in the Rajya Sabha on July 28. It aims to aid the MSME (micro, small and medium enterprises) sector.

The General Insurance Business (Nationalisation) Amendment Bill, 2021: on 02 Aug, Lok Sabha passed the Bill which will allow the govt to reduce its share in the state-owned general insurance companies, helping achieve its divestment targets. Divestment refers to the government’s selling of part of its ownership in state-run corporations.

6. The Telangana government waived crop loans up to Rs 50,000 benefitting over six lakh farmers across the state. The amount will be released to farmers between 15 Aug to 31Aug. In the first phase, crop loans up to Rs 25,000 were waived last year. In the third phase, crop loans up to Rs 75,000 will be waived in 2022 and up to Rs 1 lakh in 2023.
7. The Telangana state government decided to implement the Centre’s economically weaker sections (EWS) reservations in education and employment from this year. 10%  EWS quota to only those families whose gross annual income is below Rs 8 lakh.

3. ଚଳିତବର୍ଷ ବିଜ୍ଞାନରେ ମୋଟ ୮୯ ହଜାର ୯୫୧ ଜଣ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀ ପାସ  ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି । ଏଥି ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ୫୦୧୯୮ ଜଣ ଛାତ୍ର ରହିଥିବାବେଳେ ୩୯୭୫୩ ଜଣ ଛାତ୍ରୀ ରହିଛନ୍ତି  । ସେହିପରି ସମୁଦାୟ ୫୫୪୬୮ ଜଣ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରଥମ ଶ୍ରେଣୀରେ ଉତ୍ତୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି  । ଦ୍ୱିତାୟ ଶ୍ରେଣୀରେ ୧୬, ୯୪୩ ରହିଥିବାବେଳେ ତୃତୀୟ ଶ୍ରେଣୀରେ ୧୪ ୬୩୧ ରହିଛନ୍ତି  । ବିଜ୍ଞାନରେ ରେଗୁଲାର ପାସ ହାର ରହିଛି ୯୯.୮୮, ଏକ୍ସ ରେଗୁଲାର ପାସହାର ୭୧.୨୭ ରହିଛି  । ପ୍ରକାଶ ପାଇଲା ଯୁକ୍ତ ଦୁଇ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ ଓ ବାଣିଜ୍ୟ ପରୀକ୍ଷାଫଳ: ବିଜ୍ଞାନରେ ପାସ ହାର ୯୫.୧୫%, ବାଣିଜ୍ୟରେ ୯୪.୯୬%
4. ଆର୍ଥିକ କାରବାର ଲାଗି ଆନ୍ତଃବିନିମୟ ଫି ୧୫ଟଙ୍କାରୁ ୧୭ଟଙ୍କାକୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରାଯାଇଛି । ସେହିପରି ଅଣଆର୍ଥିକ କାରବାର ସକାଶେ ଦେୟ ପରିମାଣ ୫ ଟଙ୍କାରୁ ୬ ଟଙ୍କାକୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରାଯାଇଛି । ଏଟିଏମ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା, ଏହାର ରକ୍ଷଣାବେକ୍ଷଣ ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରୁ ଆରବିଆଇ ଏହି ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ନେଇଛି ।
5. ଅନ୍ତର୍ଜାତୀୟ ସ୍ତରରେ ଭାରତକୁ ବଡ ସଫଳତା । ଆସନ୍ତା କାଲିଠାରୁ ଜାତିସଂଘ ନିରାପତ୍ତା ପରିଷଦର ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ଦାୟିତ୍ବ ତୁଲାଇବ ଭାରତ ।
6. କରୋନା ଭାଇରସ ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ମାମଲା ବୃଦ୍ଧି କାରଣରୁ ଜାପାନ ସରକାର ୩୧ ଅଗଷ୍ଟ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ନିଜ ଦେଶରେ ଜରୁରୀକାଳିନ ପରିସ୍ଥିତି ଲାଗୁ କରିଛନ୍ତି ।
7. ରିଓ ଅଲମ୍ପିକ୍ସର ରୌପ୍ୟ ପଦକ ବିଜେତା ପି ଭି ସିନ୍ଧୁ ଶନିବାର ଦିନ ମହିଳା ବ୍ୟାଡମିଣ୍ଟନ ସିଙ୍ଗଲ୍ସର ସେମିଫାଇନାଲରେ ତାଇ ଜୁ ୟିଙ୍ଗଙ୍କଠାରୁ ପରାସ୍ତ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି । ଏହା ସହିତ ଭାରତର ରୌପ୍ୟ କିମ୍ବା ସ୍ୱର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପଦକର ଆଶା ଶେଷ ହୋଇଛି ।
8. ଅଗଷ୍ଟ ମାସର ଗାଇଡଲାଇନ ନେଇ ଏସଆରସିଙ୍କ ଘୋଷଣା। ରାତି ୮ଟାରୁ ସକାଳ ୬ଟା ଯାଏ ନାଇଟ୍‌ କର୍ଫ୍ୟୁ ବଳବତ୍ତର ରହିବ।
9. ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବର, କଟକ ଓ ପୁରୀରେ ସପ୍ତାହାନ୍ତ ସଟ୍‌ଡାଉନ୍‌ ଜାରି ରହିବ। ରାଜ୍ୟର ସମସ୍ତ ଆହାର କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଖୋଲା ରହିବ। ଏଣିକି ରାସ୍ତାକଡ଼ର ଦୋକାନରେ ଖାଇପାରିବେ ଲୋକେ
10. ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଦୈନିକ  ଓ ସାପ୍ତାହିକ ହାଟ ଖୋଲିବାକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅନୁମତି। ଶିକ୍ଷାନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ଓ କୋଚିଂ ସେଣ୍ଟର, ନନ୍ଦନକାନନ, ୱାଟର ପାର୍କ,  ସଂଗ୍ରହାଳୟ ଓ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟଟନସ୍ଥଳ ଖୋଲାଯାଇପାରିବ।

17. ଭକ୍ତଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଖୁବ୍‌ଶୀଘ୍ର ଖୋଲିବ ଶ୍ରୀଜଗନ୍ନାଥ ମନ୍ଦିର, ଆସନ୍ତା ୪ତାରିଖ ବୈଠକ ପରେ ଆନୁଷ୍ଠାନିକ ଭାବେ ଘୋଷଣା କରିବ ଶ୍ରୀମନ୍ଦିର ପ୍ରଶାସନ।
18. ଦେଶରେ କରୋନା ପଜିଟିଭିଟି ହାର ଏବେବି ୧୦ ପ୍ରତିଶତ ଉପରେ, ୧୦ ରାଜ୍ୟଙ୍କୁ ସତର୍କ କଲେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାର ।
