- The President of India Droupadi Murmu has approved the promotion of 13 Odisha Administrative Officers (OAS) to the rank of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) against the available vacancies.
- Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik directed to provide Rs 300 to the poor especially senior citizens to purchase blanket to beat the winter condition. The move will benefit more than 48 lakh poor beneficiaries under Madhu Babu Pension Yojana and National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP). The government has sanctioned Rs 146 crore for the purpose, a release issued by the CMO stated.

- ୨୩ ବର୍ଷୀୟ ସିଏନା ବର୍ନାଲ୍ ଏବଂ ସିଏରା ବର୍ନାଲ୍ ଆମେରିକାର ଟେକ୍ସାସରେ ରୁହନ୍ତି । ଉଭୟେ ଜନ୍ମ ସମୟରେ ଡାକ୍ତରମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିଦେଇଥିଲେ । ସେମାନେ ପିମୋର୍ଡିଆଲ ଡ୍ୱାରଫିସ୍ମ ବିରଳ ରୋଗ ସହିତ ଜନ୍ମ ହୋଇଥିଲେ ଯାହା ପୂର୍ବରୁ କେବେ ଶୁଣାଯାଇ ନଥିଲା । ଏହି ବିରଳ ଏବଂ ଅଜବ ରୋଗର ଶିକାର ଯାଆଁଳ ଭଉଣୀ ଦୁଇଜଣ ହୋଇଥିଲେ । ଏହି କାରଣରୁ ଉଭୟଙ୍କ ନାମ ଗିନିଜ ବିଶ୍ୱ ରେକର୍ଡରେ ସ୍ଥାନ ପାଇଛି । କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ଡିସକୋର୍ଡାଣ୍ଟ ଟ୍ୱିନିଙ୍ଗର ବିରଳ ରୋଗର ଶିକାର ହୋଇଥିଲେ ।

- ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁର ଖଲ୍ଲିକୋଟ ଜୁନିୟର କଲେଜରେ ଛାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ରାଗିଂ ଘଟଣା ନିଆଯାଇଛି ବଡ଼ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ । ଏହି ମାମଲାରେ ୯ ଜଣ ଛାତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ କଲେଜରୁ ନିଲମ୍ବିତ କରିଛନ୍ତି କର୍ତ୍ତୃପକ୍ଷ । ତଦନ୍ତ ରିପୋର୍ଟ ଆସିବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ନିଲମ୍ବିତ କାଏମ ରହିବ । ଅନିର୍ଦ୍ଦିଷ୍ଟ କାଳ ପାଇଁ ୯ ଜଣ ଛାତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ କ୍ୟାମ୍ପସରୁ ବାହାର କରାଯାଇଛି ।
- ଅଜୟ ଦେବଗନ୍ ଙ୍କ ଅଭିନୀତ ଦୃଶ୍ୟମ-୨ ଚଳଚ୍ଚିତ୍ର ମୁକ୍ତିଲାଭର ପ୍ରଥମ ଦିନରେ ହିଁ ୧୫ କୋଟି ୩୮ ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କାର ରୋଜଗାର କରିଛି । ତେବେ ଏହା ସମସ୍ତ ସିନେମାଘରେ ମାତ୍ର ୩ ଦିନ ହେବ ପଡିଛି । କିନ୍ତୁ ତିନି ଦିନରେ ଦୃଶ୍ୟମ-୨ଚଳଚ୍ଚିତ୍ର ପାଖାପାଖି ୬୪ କୋଟି ୧୪ ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କା ରୋଜଗାର କରିଛି ।
- ଯାଜପୁର ଜିଲ୍ଲା କୋରେଇ ଷ୍ଟେସନରେ ଏକ ଟ୍ରେନ୍ ଦୁର୍ଘଟଣା ଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ହୋଇଛି । ଫଳରେ ୩ ଜଣଙ୍କର ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ହୋଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ଅନେକ ଲୋକ ଆହତ ହୋଇଥିବା ଜଣାପଡିଛି ।
