1. ମାଧ୍ୟମିକ ସ୍ତରରେ ସ୍କୁଲ ପାଠ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ସାଢେ ଚାରି କୋଟି ଓଡିଆଙ୍କ ହୃଦୟର ସଂଗୀତ ‘ବନ୍ଦେ ଉତ୍କଳ ଜନନୀ’ ସ୍ଥାନ ପାଇବ।ନବମ ଓ ଦଶମ ଶ୍ରେଣୀରେ ପାଠ ପଢୁଥିବା ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀମାନେ କାନ୍ତକବି ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀକାନ୍ତ ମହାପାତ୍ରଙ୍କର ଏହି କାଳଜୟୀ କୃତୀ ପଢିବାର ସୁଯୋଗ ପାଇବେ।
2. ଟାଟା କନସଲଟାନ୍ସି ସର୍ଭିସେସ୍ (ଟିସିଏସ୍)  ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ନବମ ଓ ଦଶମ ଶ୍ରେଣୀ ପିଲାଙ୍କୁ ମାଗଣା ଅନଲାଇନ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦେବ। ଏ ନେଇ ରାଜ୍ୟ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଓ ଗଣଶିକ୍ଷା ବିଭାଗ ସହ ଟିସିଏସ୍ ଚୁକ୍ତି ସ୍ୱାକ୍ଷରିତ କରିଛି । ତେବେ ଏହା କେବଳ ୨୧୪ଟି ଆଦର୍ଶ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଓ ୧୦୧ ଉତ୍କର୍ଷ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟରେ ଲାଗୁ ହେବ ବୋଲି ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଓ ଗଣଶିକ୍ଷା ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସମୀର ରଞ୍ଜନ ଦାଶ।
3. ଓଡିଶା ସମେତ ପ୍ରାକୃତିକ ବିପର୍ଯ୍ୟୟରେ ପ୍ରଭାବିତ ୬ ରାଜ୍ୟକୁ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାର ସହାୟତା ଘୋଷଣା କରିଛନ୍ତି । ବାତ୍ୟା ଅମ୍ଫନ ପାଇଁ ଓଡ଼ିଶାକୁ ୧୨୮.୨୩ କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କାର ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ସହାୟତା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯିବା ନେଇ ଘୋଷଣା କରାଯାଇଛି । 
4.  ଭାରତୀୟ ସେନାର ସୂତ୍ର ଅନୁଯାୟୀ, ଭାରତ ପକ୍ଷରୁ କରାଯାଇଥିବା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାନୁଷ୍ଠାନରେ ୭-୮ ପାକିସ୍ତାନୀ ସୈନିକ ନିହତ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି। ଏଥିରେ ପାକିସ୍ତାନୀ ସେନାର ସ୍ପେଶାଲ ସର୍ଭିସ ଗ୍ରୁପ୍ ର ୨-୩ କମାଣ୍ଡୋ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଭୁକ୍ତ। ଏହା ସହିତ ୧୦-୧୨  ପାକିସ୍ତାନୀ ସୈନିକ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆହତ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି। ଭାରତୀୟ ସେନାର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାନୁଷ୍ଠାନରେ ପାକିସ୍ତାନ ବହୁ କ୍ଷତି ସହିଛି। ପାକିସ୍ତାନୀ ସେନାର ଅନେକ ବଙ୍କର ଏବଂ ଲଞ୍ଚ ପ୍ୟାଡ୍ ମଧ୍ୟ ନଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି।
5.  ଦୀର୍ଘ ୨୦ବର୍ଷ ପରେ ପାକିସ୍ତାନରୁ ଫେରି ଜନ୍ମମାଟିରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଲେ ବିର୍ଜୁ କୁଲୁ । ସୁନ୍ଦରଗଡ କୁତ୍ରାରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଲେ ବିର୍ଜୁ କୁଲୁ । ସେ କୁତ୍ରା ବ୍ଲକ୍ ଅଫିସ ନିକଟରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିବା ପରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ପାରମ୍ପରିକ ଆଦିବାସୀ ବାଦ୍ୟ ବଜାଇ ସ୍ବାଗତ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା ।
