1.ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଆବାସ ଯୋଜନା (ପିଏମ୍‌ଏୱାଇ)-ସହରାଞ୍ଚଳ ଓ ପିଏମ୍‌ଏୱାଇ-ସହରାଞ୍ଚଳ ୨.୦ରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ପାଇଁ ୨.୨ ଲକ୍ଷ ଘର ମଞ୍ଜୁର କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ସେଥିରୁ ୧.୭ ଲକ୍ଷ ଘରର ନିର୍ମାଣ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୋଇଛି। ଅର୍ଥାତ ମଞ୍ଜୁର ହୋଇଥିବା ଘରର ୭୪ ପ୍ରତିଶତ ନିର୍ମାଣ ହୋଇସାରିଛି।

9.ପିଏଫ୍ ଆକାଉଣ୍ଟ ପାଇଁ ନୂତନ ନିୟମ ଅନୁଯାୟୀ, କର୍ମଚାରୀମାନେ ଚାକିରି ଛାଡିବାର ଗୋଟିଏ ବର୍ଷ ପରେ ବିବାହ, ଘର ନିର୍ମାଣ କିମ୍ବା ଅନ୍ୟ କୌଣସି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଗତ ଆବଶ୍ୟକତା ପାଇଁ ଏବେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପିଏଫ୍ ଆକାଉଣ୍ଟରୁ ପାଣ୍ଠି ଉଠାଇପାରିବେ। ଏହାର ଅର୍ଥ ହେଉଛି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଉ ୨ ମାସ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିବାକୁ ପଡ଼ିବ ନାହିଁ, ବରଂ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ୧୨ ମାସ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିବାକୁ ପଡ଼ିବ।

ଜିଏସଟି (GST) ହ୍ରାସର ପ୍ରଭାବ ସାଧାରଣ ଜନତାଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ପଡିଛି। ତେବେ ସରକାର ୫୪ଟି ସାମଗ୍ରୀର ଦର ଉପରେ ନଜର ରଖିଛନ୍ତି, ଯେପରିକି ଦର ହ୍ରାସର ସୁଫଳ ସାଧାରଣ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିବ ।

୧୯୮୪ ମସିହାରେ ହରିୟାଣାରେ ହୋଇଥିବା ଶିଖ ଦଙ୍ଗାରେ ମୃତ୍ୟୁବରଣ କରିଥିବା ୧୨୧ ଜଣଙ୍କ ପରିବାରକୁ ଦେବ ଦୀପାବଳି, ନଭେମ୍ବର ୫ ତାରିଖରେ ସରକାରୀ ଚାକିରିର ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ପତ୍ର ମିଳିବ।

ପଞ୍ଜାବର ଅମୃତସରରୁ ବିହାରର ସହରସା ଅଭିମୁଖେ ଯାଉଥିବା ଗରିବ ରଥ ଟ୍ରେନ୍ (୧୨୨୦୪)ରେ ପଞ୍ଜାବର ସିରହିନ୍ଦ ଷ୍ଟେସନ୍ ନିକଟରେ ୧୯ ନମ୍ବର ଏସି ବଗିରେ ସର୍ଟ ସର୍କିଟ ଯୋଗୁଁ ଅଗ୍ନିକାଣ୍ଡ ଘଟିଥିଲା। ଲୁଧିଆନାର ଅନେକ ବ୍ୟବସାୟୀ ଏହି ବଗିରେ ଯାତ୍ରା କରୁଥିଲେ। ରେଳବାଇ ଓ ଅଗ୍ନିଶମ ବିଭାଗର ତତ୍ପରତା ବଳରେ ସମସ୍ତ ଯାତ୍ରୀ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ଅଛନ୍ତି।

ମୁଦ୍ରାସ୍ଫୀତି ଗତ ୮ବର୍ଷ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସର୍ବନିମ୍ନ ସ୍ତରରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଛି। ଖୁଚୁର‌ା ମୁଦ୍ରାସ୍ଫୀତି ମାତ୍ର ୧.୫୪%ରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଥିବାବେଳେ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ମୁଦ୍ରାସ୍ଫୀତି ନକାରାତ୍ମକ (-୨.୩%) ହୋଇଛି। ଏହା ସାଧାରଣ ପରିବାରଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ବଡ଼ ଉତ୍ସବ ପାଳନ କରିବାର ଆର୍ଥିକ ସ୍ୱାଧୀନତା ଦେଇଛି।
