- ଭାରତ କୋଭିଡ ମାମଲାରେ ଏକ ହ୍ରାସର ଧାରା ଦେଖାଦେଇଛି . ଶନିବାର ଦିନ 84,332 ଟି କରୋନାନୂଆ ନମୁନା ପଜିଟିଭ ସହିତ 70 ଦିନ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସଂକ୍ରମଣର ସର୍ବନିମ୍ନ ସ୍ପାଇକ୍ ରିପୋର୍ଟ କରିଛି। ଭାରତ ଏପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ 2.93 କୋଟି କରୋନାଭାଇରସ୍ ମାମଲା ରୁଜୁ କରିଛି।
- ଗତ 24 ଘଣ୍ଟା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଓଡିଶା 4469 ନୂତନ COVID-19 ମାମଲା ରିପୋର୍ଟ କରିଛି | ଗତକାଲି ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ମୋଟ 62034 ନମୁନା ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ଖୋର୍ଦ୍ଧା ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ସର୍ବାଧିକ 612 ତାଜା ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ପଞ୍ଜିକୃତ ହୋଇଥିଲା, ତା’ପରେ କଟକ (413) ଏବଂ ଯାଜପୁର (370) ରହିଥିଲା।

- The Calcutta High Court on Wednesday said it would later decide on considering the affidavits by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and state Law Minister Moloy Ghatak on their roles on May 17, the day four leaders, three of them from the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC), were arrested by the CBI in the Narada case. Solicitor-General Tushar Mehta objected to the acceptance of the affidavits, claiming they were filed after he completed his arguments.

- The govt has launched a new e-filing portal to make tax filing easy for all categories of taxpayers . Normally, the due date for ITR filing for salaried taxpayers remains 31st July. However, due to the COVID pandemic, the due date has been extended to 30th Sept 2021 this year.
- But, in case your self assessment tax after covering of TDS amount is more than Rs 1 lakh, then you may be charged interest for filing beyond 31st July. - India's total tally of COVID-19 cases surged to 2,89,96,473 with 86,498 new infections being reported in a day, while the recoveries have crossed 2.73 crores, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Tuesday. India today reported 86,498 new Covid cases in the last 24 hours, its lowest in 66 days, showed government data. The daily positivity rate stood at 4.62 per cent.
