1. କଟକ ବିଦ୍ୟାଧରପୁରସ୍ଥିତ ଜାତୀୟ ଧାନ ଗବେଷଣା କେନ୍ଦ୍ରରୁ ଉନ୍ନତମାନ ୯ଟି ନୂତନ କିସମ ଧାନ ଉଦ୍ଭାବିତ ହୋଇଛି ବୋଲି ନିର୍ଦେଶକ ଡଃ ଦୀପଙ୍କର ମାଇତି କହିଛନ୍ତି। ୧୯୬୮ ମସିହାରୁ ନୂତନ ଧାନ କିସମ ଉଦ୍ଭାବନ ହେବା ଦିନଠୁ ଆଜିର ଏହି ୯ ଗୋଟି ନୂତନ ଧାନ କିସମକୁ ମିଶାଇ ଆଜି ସୁଦ୍ଧା ୧୫୪ ଧାନ କିସମ ଉଦ୍ଭାବିତ ହୋଇଥିବା କୁହାଯାଇଛି।
2. ରାଜୀବ ଗାନ୍ଧୀ ଖେଳରତ୍ନ ପୁରସ୍କାର ନାମ ମୋଦି ସରକାର ବଦଳାଇ ଛନ୍ତି । ସରକାର ଏବେ ହକିର ଯାଦୁଗର ମେଜର ଧ୍ୟାନଚନ୍ଦଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ଖେଳରତ୍ନ ପୁରସ୍କାର ଦେବାକୁ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ନେଇଛନ୍ତି । ଟ୍ୱିଟ୍ କରି ଏନେଇ ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦି ।

5. 1985 ମସିହାରୁ ନନ୍ଦନକାନନରେ ଟଏ ଟ୍ରେନ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଥିଲା ମାତ୍ର 2013 ମସିହାରେ ଏହାର ଯାନ୍ତ୍ରିକ ତ୍ରୁଟି ଯୋଗୁ ବନ୍ଦ ପଡ଼ିଥିଲା। ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା 3 କୋଟି 5 ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କା ବ୍ୟୟରେ ବଗି ଓ ଟ୍ରାକର ନବୀକରଣ କରାଯାଇଛି । ଏହି ଟ୍ରେନରେ ଏକା ଥରକେ 72 ଜଣ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟଟକ ବୁଲିବାର ମଜା ନେଇପାରିବେ । ଏଥର ଟ୍ରେନରେ ବସି ନନ୍ଦନକାନନ ବୁଲିବେ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟଟକ ।
6. ଚଳିତ ମାସରେ ସେରମ ଇନଷ୍ଟିଚ୍ୟୁଟ ୧୨ରୁ ୧୮ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ପିଲାଙ୍କ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ କୋଭାଭାକ୍ସର ଟ୍ରାଏଲ କରାଯିବ । ୧୨ରୁ ୧୭ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ୪୬୦ ପିଲା ଓ ୨ରୁ ୧୧ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ଆଉ ୪୬୦ ପିଲାଙ୍କ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଟ୍ରାଏଲ କରାଯିବ । ପୂର୍ବରୁ ପିଲାଙ୍କ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଭାରତୀୟ ଟିକା ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତକାରୀ କମ୍ପାନୀ ଭାରତ ବାୟୋଟେକ କୋଭାକ୍ସିନ ଓ ଜାଇଡସ କାଡିଲାର ଟ୍ରାଏଲ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଛି ।
7. ଗତ 24ଘଣ୍ଟାରେ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱରରେ 36ଜଣ ଡେଙ୍ଗୁ ରୋଗୀ ଚିହ୍ନଟ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି। ଫଳରେ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱରରେ ମୋଟ ଡେଙ୍ଗୁ ରୋଗୀଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା 831କୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଛି । ଡେଙ୍ଗୁରୁ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇବା ପାଇଁ ବିଏମ୍‌ସି ପକ୍ଷରୁ ବ୍ୟାପକ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ନିଆଯାଇଛି ।
8. ଅକ୍ସିଜେନ୍‌ ଅଭାବ ଯୋଗୁଁ କେଉଁ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ କେତେ କୋଭିଡ୍‌ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ହୋଇଛି ସେନେଇ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାର ରାଜ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ତଥ୍ୟ ମାଗିଥିଲେ। ତେବେ ୧୩ଟି ରାଜ୍ୟ ଏ ବାବଦ ତଥ୍ୟ ‌କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଦାଖଲ କରିଥିବା ଜଣାପଡ଼ିଛି। ଏଥିମଧ୍ୟରୁ ୧୨ ଟି ରାଜ୍ୟ ଅକ୍ସିଜେନ୍‌ ଅଭାବରୁ କୌଣସି ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ହୋଇନଥିବା କହିଛନ୍ତି।
9. ଭାରତାୟ ବିମାନ ପ୍ରାଧିକରଣ (ଏଏଆଇ) ଦ୍ବାରା ପରିଚାଳିତ ୧୩୬ ବିମାନବନ୍ଦରରୁ ପାଖାପାଖି ୭୫ ପ୍ରତିଶତ କ୍ଷତିରେ ଚାଲିଛି। ସେଥିମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଗତ ତିନିବର୍ଷରେ ଝାରସୁଗୁଡ଼ା ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦରରେ କୌଣସି ଲାଭ ହୋଇନଥିବା ଦର୍ଶାଇଥିଲେ।
10. ଭାରତର ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷତାରେ ଜାତିସଂଘ ନିରାପତ୍ତା ପରିଷଦର ବୈଠକ ଶୁକ୍ରବାରଠାରୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଛି । ବୈଠକରେ ପ୍ରଥମେ ଆଫଗାନିସ୍ତାନର ସାଂପ୍ରତିକ ସ୍ଥିତି ଉପରେ ଆଲୋଚନା ହୋଇଛି। ଭାରତ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆଫଗାନିସ୍ତାନରେ ହିଂସାର ଅବସାନ ଉପରେ ଗୁରୁତ୍ବ ଦେଉଛି। ହିଂସାତ୍ମକ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକଳାପକୁ ତୁରନ୍ତ ବନ୍ଦ ସହିତ ଆଲୋଚନା ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଏହାର ରାଜନୈତିକ ସମାଧାନ ଚାହୁଛି।
11. ଫ୍ୟୁଚର୍‌ ଗ୍ରୁପ୍‌ର ରିଟେଲ୍‌ କାରବାରକୁ କିଣିବା ଲାଗି ରିଲାଏନ୍ସ ରିଟେଲ୍‌ ଯେଉଁ ୨୪,୭୩୧ କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କାର ଚୁକ୍ତି କରିଥିବା ତାହାକୁ ସୁପ୍ରିମ୍‌କୋର୍ଟ ଅଟକାଇ ‌ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି। ଏହି ଚୁକ୍ତି ବିରୋଧରେ ଆମାଜନ୍ ଦାୟର କରିଥିବା ମାମଲାର ଶୁଣାଣି କରି କୋର୍ଟ କହିଛନ୍ତି ‌ଯେ ମିଶ୍ରଣ ଅଟକାଇବା ଲାଗି ସିଙ୍ଗାପୁରର ମଧ୍ୟସ୍ଥତା କୋର୍ଟ ଗତ ଅକ୍ଟୋବରରେ ଯେଉଁ ରାୟ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଛନ୍ତି ତାହା ଯୁକ୍ତିଯୁକ୍ତ ମନେ ହେଉଛି। ସେଥିପାଇଁ ସେହି ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତିକୁ ସୁପ୍ରିମକୋର୍ଟ ବୈଧ ଘୋଷଣା କରିଛନ୍ତି।

13. ୨୦୨୦ରୁ ୨୦୨୧ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଦେଶରେ କୋଭିଡ୍‌ରେ ପ୍ରାଣ ହରାଇଥିବା ସାମ୍ବାଦିକଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ମୋଟ୍‌ ୧୦୧ ସାମ୍ବାଦିକଙ୍କ ପରିବାର ସଦସ୍ୟଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ୫.୦୫ କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କା ମଂଜୁର ହୋଇଛି। ପ୍ରତି ପରିବାରକୁ ୫ ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କା ଆର୍ଥିକ ସହାୟତା ଦେବାପାଇଁ ସ୍ବିକୃତୀ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି ବୋଲି କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଭାରତୀ ପ୍ରବୀଣ ପାୱାର କହିଛନ୍ତି।
14. ପଶ୍ଚିମବଙ୍ଗରେ ଦୁର୍ଗାପୂଜା ଛୁଟି ପରେ ସ୍କୁଲ, କଲେଜ ଖୋଲିବାର ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରହିଛି ବୋଲି ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ମମତା ବାନାର୍ଜୀ ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି।

5. Schools and colleges are likely to reopen after the Durga Puja holidays in West Bengal, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has informed.

3. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Thursday said that ₹ 100 crore has been sanctioned to restore the roads affected by unprecedented rains in Konkan and Western Maharashtra.
4. Mr Dahiya will get ₹ 4 crore, a government job and a plot at concessional rate, the Haryana government said in a statement. An indoor wrestling stadium equipped with modern facilities will be built in Mr Dahiya's village, Nahari, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said.
5. The Odisha government on Thursday allowed opening of physical classes for Class-IX student across the state from August 16. This was informed by School and Mass Education Department. The teaching hour for Class-IX students will be from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. excluding Sundays and Public Holidays.

Tokyo: Indian grappler Ravi Kumar Dahiya brings Silver Medal for India after losing to ROC’s Zavur Uguev a two-time World Championships gold medallist in the final of the 57kg category of men’s freestyle wrestling. Ravi becomes the second Indian wrestler, after Sushil Kumar, to win the silver medal at the Olympic Games.
11.  Evaluation of answer sheets of the offline Matric examination, which concluded today, will begin from August 12, informed Board of Secondary Education (BSE) President Ramashish Hazra said.

The CBSE on Thursday informed the Supreme Court that it will conduct examinations for improvement of marks of classes 10 and 12 candidates from August 25 to September 15, and fixed September 30 as the date for declaration of results. The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) board said it will commence improvement exams on August 16 and declare results around September 20.

18. The Supreme Court on 05 Aug (Thursday) agreed to hear a batch of petitions seeking a court-monitored SIT probe into Pegasus snooping controversy on August 10 as it asked the petitioners to serve copies of their respective petition on the Centre.

The General Insurance Business (Nationalisation) Amendment Bill, 2021: on 02 Aug, Lok Sabha passed the Bill which will allow the govt to reduce its share in the state-owned general insurance companies, helping achieve its divestment targets. 3. ଦେଶରେ ପିଲାଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବଢୁଛି ଆତ୍ମହତ୍ୟା ପ୍ରବଣତା। ୨୦୧୭ରୁ ୨୦୧୯ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଦେଶରେ ୧୪ରୁ ୧୮ ବୟସ୍କ ୨୪ ହଜାର ପିଲା ଆତ୍ମହତ୍ୟା କରିଛନ୍ତି।
4. ୪୧ ବର୍ଷ ପରେ ପ୍ରଥମ ଥର ପାଇଁ ଭାରତୀୟ ହକି ଟିମ୍ ଅଲମ୍ପିକ୍ସର ସେମିଫାଇନାଲରେ ପହଂଚିଛି । ଫାଇନାଲ ଓ ସ୍ୱର୍ଣ୍ଣ କିମ୍ବା ରୌପ୍ୟ ପଦକଠାରୁ ମାତ୍ର ଗୋଟିଏ ପାଦ ଦୂରରେ ଟିମ୍ ଇଣ୍ଡିଆ । ଶେଷ ଥର ପାଇଁ ୧୯୮୦ ମସ୍କୋ ଅଲମ୍ପିକ୍ସରେ ଭାରତୀୟ ଟିମ୍ ସେମିଫାଇନାଲରେ ପହଂଚିଥିଲା ।
