19. କରୋନା ଭାଇରସ ମହାମାରୀ ସଂକ୍ରମଣକୁ ଧ୍ୟାନରେ ରଖି ବାଂଲାଦେଶ ସରକାର ରବିବାର ସୀମା ସିଲ୍‌ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଆଗାମୀ ୧୪ ଦିନ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବାଂଲାଦେଶ-ଭାରତ ସୀମା ବ୍ୟାପାର ରହିବ ନାହିଁ। 
20. କୋଲକାତାରେ RT-PCR ଟେଷ୍ଟ କରୁଥିବା ପ୍ରତି ୨ ଜଣରେ ଜଣେ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କର ରିପୋର୍ଟ ପିଜିଟିଭ ଆସୁଛି । କୋଲକାତାକୁ ଛାଡି ଅନ୍ୟ ସ୍ଥାନମାନଙ୍କରେ ଟେଷ୍ଟ କରୁଥିବା ପ୍ରତି ୪ ଜଣରେ ଜଣଙ୍କର ଟେଷ୍ଟ ରିପୋର୍ଟ ପଜିଟିଭ ଆସୁଛି ।

2.ବିଜେଡି ରାଜ୍ୟସଭା ସଦସ୍ୟ ଡକ୍ଟର ଅମର ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକ ଶନିବାର ଦିନ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ୨୦ ଧନୀ ଭାରତୀୟଙ୍କୁ ମାତୃଭୂମି ପ୍ରତି କର୍ତ୍ତବ୍ୟର ଏକ ଅଂଶ ଭାବରେ ଅତି କମରେ ୨୫ ପ୍ରତିଶତ ଭାରତୀୟଙ୍କ ଟିକାକରଣ ଭାର ବହନ କରିବାକୁ ଆହ୍ବାନ କରିଛନ୍ତି।

3.ଗତକାଲି  ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ୧୨ଟି ସ୍ଥାନର ତାପମାତ୍ରା ୪୦ ଡିଗ୍ରୀ ଉପରେ ରହିଛି। ଏ ନେଇ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର ସ୍ଥିତ ଆଞ୍ଚଳିକ ପାଣିପାଗ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଚ୍ବିଟ କରି ସୂଚନା ଦିଆଯାଇଛି। ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବରର ତାପମାତ୍ରା ସର୍ବାଧିକ ୪୨.୧ ଡିଗ୍ରୀ ସେଲସିୟସ ରହିଛି।

4. ପଞ୍ଜିକୃତ ହୋଇଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ନିର୍ମାଣ ଶ୍ରମିକଙ୍କୁ ୫ ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କାର ସହାୟତା ରାଶି ଘୋଷଣା କରିଛନ୍ତି କେଜ୍ରିୱାଲ। ଏଥିରେ ୨ ଲକ୍ଷରୁ ଉର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ବ  ନିର୍ମାଣ ଶ୍ରମିକ ଉପକୃତ ହେବେ ।

12. କରୋନାରେ ମଧ୍ୟପ୍ରଦେଶର କଂଗ୍ରେସ ବିଧାୟିକା କଳାବତୀ ଭୁରିଆଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ହୋଇଛି। ମୃତ୍ୟୂ ବେଳକୁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ୪୯ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ ହୋଇଥିଲା।

5. The Odisha police escorted the green corridor from Rourkela to Indore with 21 tonnes of oxygen. Odisha also  sent a second tanker of 25 tonnes of oxygen to Mumbai. Two oxygen tankers left Jajpur for Vishakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh and Pune in Maharashtra. The Air Force's fighter jets will carry oxygen. Two Air Force C-17 fighter jets have been sent from Telangana.  Odisha also  will now send oxygen to Telangana.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday held talks with the chief ministers of 10 states on the situation in the capital Delhi over the corona epidemic situation and the oxygen situation in hospitals. However, the Delhi Chief Minister's speech was broadcast live on television at the meeting. The Delhi Chief Minister's Office has expressed regret over the incident.
7. The central government has now made another important decision. The central government plans to set up a DRDO-Tata Sons oxygen production plant immediately. It will be set up at various state-run hospitals, including AIIMS, NHIC Jhazar, Safdarjung, Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and some other hospitals. Its production capacity is estimated to be 1,000 liters per minute.
8. In the last 24 hours in Uttar Pradesh, 37,238 new cases have been reported in the state. 199 people died in one day due to the infection. The capital, Lucknow, has 5682 cases of infection. The state's chief administrative secretary, Navneet Sehgal, said that as many as 2,25,236 samples had been tested by Thursday.

10. The doctor Nihar Ranjan Sarangi has decided to provide door-to-door service to patients during the Covid pandemic. Sarangi has been visiting the houses of several Covid infected patients without caring about his personal safety. He has also been counselling them to beat the virus.
11. The first Oxygen Express carrying seven tankers filled with liquid medical oxygen from Visakhapatnam returned to Maharashtra on Friday, four days after it started its journey. The train arrived at Nagpur at 8.10 pm, bringing some relief to the state which is reeling under a surge in coronavirus cases and shortages of medical oxygen.

Sixty-five healthcare personnel, including doctors, deployed on Kumbh duty have tested positive for COVID-19, officials said here on Friday.All of them have been kept in isolation, they said.A total of 751 healthcare personnel -- 336 doctors and 415 nurses and paramedics -- had been deployed in the Kumbh Mela area after being vaccinated.

6. According to scientists, B.1.618 is rapidly spreading in West Bengal. In West Bengal, the virus has been sequenced. The virus, which matches the B.1.618 variant, has been found in the United States, Switzerland, Singapore and Finland. Of those infected in the world, 62.5 per cent are in India.

7.All beneficiaries over the age of 18 are eligible to be vaccinated from May 1 can register on the Cowin Platform from Saturday, said the National Executive Health Authority (NHAA) Chief Executive Officer R.J. Q. Sharma said.

12. The Odisha  state government has issued a new advisory for private hospitals. No private hospital can return Covid patient. Fifty percent of private hospital beds will be for corona patients. All beds will be used for corona disease if necessary.

13. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday night said that his government will provide COVID-19 vaccine to people above 18 years of age for free.

14  The Election Commission on Thursday banned all roadshows, processions, and bike rallies in Bengal after it found severe violation of Covid-19 protocols in the events organised by the political parties. In its order on Thursday evening, the poll panel also said no public meetings beyond the limit of 500 persons shall be permissible.

15. A ring road project to be built around the capital Bhubaneswar has been approved. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has approved the four-lane ring road project. The ring road will pass through Khordha, Bhubaneswar, Aathgad, Cuttack, Chaudhwar. The state government has allocated Rs 600 crore for the land acquisition.
