7.୫୦ ବର୍ଷ ପୂର୍ବେ ଆମେରିକା ଚନ୍ଦ୍ରପୃଷ୍ଠରେ ନିଜର ଧ୍ବଜା ଉତ୍ତୋଳନ କରିଥିଲା। ଆମେରିକା ପରେ ଚୀନ ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ଦେଶ ଭାବେ ଏହି ସଫଳତା ହାସଲ କରିଛି। ଚାଇନା ନ୍ୟାସନାଲ୍ ଆଡମିନିଷ୍ଟେ୍ରସନ୍ ଦ୍ବାରା ଚନ୍ଦ୍ରରେ ଉଡ଼ାଯାଇଥିବା ପତାକାର ଫଟୋ ସେୟାର କରାଯାଇଛି। ଚୀନ ଦ୍ବାରା ପଠାଯାଇଥିବା ଚାଙ୍ଗ-୫ ସ୍ପେସ୍କ୍ରାଫ୍ଟ ଦ୍ବାରା ଏହି ପତାକା ଚନ୍ଦ୍ରପୃଷ୍ଠରେ ଲଗାଇଛି।
