- The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has issued guidelines warning against the use of antibiotics for conditions such as low-grade fever and viral bronchitis while advising doctors to follow a timeline while prescribing them.

- ପୋରବନ୍ଦରଠାରୁ ୨୫ କିଲୋମିଟର ଦୂର ଟୁକଡା ଗୋସା ଗାଁରେ ନିର୍ବାଚନ ଡ୍ୟୁଟି ପାଇଁ ମୁତୟନ ଥିବା ଇଣ୍ଡିଆ ରିଜର୍ଭ ବାଟାଲିୟନର ଜଣେ ଯବାନ ନିଜର ଦୁଇ ସହକର୍ମୀ ଯବାନଙ୍କୁ ଗୁଳି କରି ହତ୍ୟା କରିଛି । ଏହି ଘଟଣାରେ ଆଉ ୨ ଜଣ ଆହତ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି ।

- The President of India Droupadi Murmu has approved the promotion of 13 Odisha Administrative Officers (OAS) to the rank of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) against the available vacancies.

- ଢେଙ୍କାନାଳ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ ଯୋରନ୍ଦା ମହିମାଗାଦିରେ ପୁରାତନ ମନ୍ଦିର ଭଙ୍ଗାଯିବା ଘଟଣାରେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଶିକ୍ଷା, ଦକ୍ଷତା ବିକାଶ ଓ ଉଦ୍ୟମିତା ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଧର୍ମେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପ୍ରଧାନ ଦୁଃଖ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଶ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଟ୍ୱିଟ୍ କରିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ଯୋରନ୍ଦା ମହିମାଗାଦିରେ ଥିବା ପ୍ରାୟ ୯୫ ବର୍ଷର ପୁରାତନ ମନ୍ଦିର ଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଭଙ୍ଗାଯିବାର ଦୃଶ୍ୟ ଦେଖି ମନ କଷ୍ଟ ହେଲା।
- ଭାରତ ଓ ନ୍ୟୁଜିଲାଣ୍ଡ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ୩ ମ୍ୟାଚ ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଟ୍ବେଣ୍ଟି-୨୦ ଶୃଙ୍ଖଳାର ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ମ୍ୟାଚ ରବିବାର ମାଉଣ୍ଟ ମଙ୍ଗାନୁଇରେ ଖେଳାଯାଇଥିଲା। ଉକ୍ତ ମ୍ୟାଚରେ ବିଶ୍ବର ଏକ ନମ୍ବର ବ୍ୟାଟସମ୍ୟାନ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟକୁମାର ଯାଦବ ୫୧ ବଲରେ ୧୧୧ରନର ଅପରାଜିତ ଇନିଂସ ଖେଳିଥିଲେ । ଅନ୍ତର୍ଜାତୀୟ ଟ୍ବେଣ୍ଟି-୨୦ରେ ଏହା ତାଙ୍କର ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ଶତକ ।
