Bangladesh has scored an overall score of 2.68 making it the third most peaceful country in South Asia placed behind Bhutan and Nepal. Afghanistan has been ranked as the least peaceful country in the South Asian region.

- Odisha reported 3631 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours with 63421 tests. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 5.72%. Khurda district registered highest 506 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack (438) and Jajpur (305). Odisha Reports 39 Fresh COVID Deaths

- India has reported 62,224 new Covid cases in the last 24 hours, slightly higher that yesterday's figures. The death count climbed to 3,79,573 with 2,542 fresh fatalities. With the fresh Covid cases, the country's tally of cases has climbed to over 2.96 crore, as per Union Health Ministry.

- India, witnessing a downward trend in Covid cases, reported the lowest daily spike in infections in 70 days with 84,332 new cases Saturday. India has so far logged 2.93 crore cases of coronavirus.
- Odisha reported 4469 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. A total of 62034 samples were tested in the state, yesterday. Khurda district registered highest 612 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack (413) and Jajpur (370).
