1. କେବଳ ପୁରୀରେ ହେବ ରଥଯାତ୍ରା । କେନ୍ଦ୍ରାପଡ଼ା ଓ ବରଗଡ଼ରେ ରଥଯାତ୍ରା ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ କରାଯିବା ଲାଗି ମଗାଯାଇଥିବା ଅନୁମତିକୁ ଅଗ୍ରାହ୍ୟ କରିଛନ୍ତି ମାନ୍ୟବର ଓଡ଼ିଶା ହାଇକୋର୍ଟ । ଏ ନେଇ ହାଇକୋର୍ଟରେ ୫ ଟି ପିଟିସନ୍ ଦାଖଲ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।

Assets worth Rs 9,371 crore belonging to fugitive businessmen Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi, Mehul Choksi have been transferred to state-run banks, who suffered losses, on account of the fraud committed against them. Total assets worth Rs 18,170.02 crore has been seized by the Enforcement Directorate so far, 80% of which is the the total bank loss.
5. Union Cabinet on 23 June approved allocation of additional foodgrain under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, Phase IV for another period of five months from July to Nov 2021. Under it, 5 Kg  foodgrains per person per month free of cost will be given to the beneficiaries covered under National Food Security Act .

1. In Odisha 3456 more persons tested positive for COVID-19 during the last 24 hours while 65845 samples were tested yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 5.2%. Khurda district reported highest 499 fresh infections followed by Cuttack (480) and Puri (289).
2. COVID-19 infections on a decline, India recorded 42,640 new cases on Tuesday with the daily count dropping below the 50,000-mark after 91 days. The cumulative death count stands at 3,89,302, with 1,167 fresh fatalities reported yesterday.
3. The budget session of the West Bengal Assembly will begin from July 2 with Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar's address, Speaker Biman Banerjee said on Tuesday.

11. The CBSE said if the candidates are not satisfied with their result, CBSE will provide online facility for registration for the examination. The facility to register for written exam will be offered online at CBSE’s official website - cbse.nic.in. CBSE to conduct optional exam between 15 August to 15 Sept .

13. The Defence Ministry has signed a contract with Goa Shipyard Ltd for construction of two Pollution Control Vessels  for Indian Coast Guard today. The Defence Ministry has said that it has been done at a cost of about Rs 583 crore.

1. ୨୪ ଘଣ୍ଟାରେ ଚିହ୍ନଟ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି ୨୯୫୭ ଆକ୍ରାନ୍ତ । ଆଜି ଚିହ୍ନଟ ହୋଇଥିବା ସଂକ୍ରମିତଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ୧୬୯୮ ଜଣ କ୍ବାରାଣ୍ଟିନ୍‌ ସେଣ୍ଟରରୁ ଚିହ୍ନଟ ହୋଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ୧୨୫୯ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ବାସିନ୍ଦା ପଜିଟିଭ ଚିହ୍ନଟ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି । ଏହାକୁ ମିଶାଇ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ମୋଟ ଆକ୍ରାନ୍ତଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ୮୮୩୪୯୦ ଜଣ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଛି। ଏନେଇ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସୂଚନା ଓ ଲୋକ ସମ୍ପର୍କ ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଟ୍ଵିଟ୍ ଯୋଗେ ସୂଚନା ଦିଆଯାଇଛି। ୨୪ ଘଣ୍ଟାରେ ଖୋର୍ଦ୍ଧାରୁ ଚିହ୍ନଟ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି ୪୦୮ ସଂକ୍ରମିତ ।

India recorded 42,640 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the lowest since March 23, according to data released by the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry on Tuesday.As it continued with a declining trend of coronavirus infection, the country reported 1,167 deaths. This is the fifth consecutive day in the last two months when the toll has been below the 2,000-mark.

13. Tamil Nadu govt has released guidelines for protecting school students from sexual abuse. The regulation states that every school should have a eight member student protection counsel group consisting of the school headmaster or headmistress, teachers, members of the parent teachers association, non teaching staff, outside members and management representatives.
14. From Jul 2021, a higher Tax Deducted At Source (TDS) rate would be applicable for Income Tax Return (ITR) non-filers, according to the Finance Act, 2021. If a taxpayer has not filed TDS in the last 2 years & TDS deducted each year more than ₹50,000, the tax department will charge more while filing the ITR from July 1.

3.    ଦେଶର ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ୧୦ ବାସପୋଯୋଗୀ ସହର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ୪ର୍ଥ ସ୍ଥାନ ପାଇଲା ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର । ନାଗରିକ ଅନୁଭୂତି ସର୍ବେକ୍ଷଣରେ ସର୍ବାଧିକ ୯୪.୮ ପ୍ରତିଶତ ସ୍କୋର ପାଇବା ସହ ସହଜ ଜୀବନଧାରଣ ସୂଚକାଙ୍କରେ ମିଳିଲା ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନ ।
4.    ଗୃହ ନିର୍ମାଣ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଚୀନର ଏକ ପ୍ରଯୁକ୍ତି କମାଲ୍ ଦେଖାଇଛି। ମାତ୍ର ୨୮ ଘଣ୍ଟା ୪୫ ମିନିଟରେ ୧୦ ମହଲା ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଏକ ଆବାସିକ ଆପାର୍ଟମେଣ୍ଟକୁ ଏହି ପ୍ରଯୁକ୍ତି ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରାଯାଇଛି।

1. India's Covid chart continued to show improvement today, with the country recording 58,419 cases, the lowest in over 80 days. India, the second-worst hit country, now has 2.98 crore cases.
2. Forty more persons succumbed to Covid-19 in Odisha during the last 24 hours. The Health and Family Welfare Department informed that as many as 3577 Covid positive cases were traced from Odisha within the last 24 hours.
3. Popular Odia singer Tapu Mishra succumbed to post Covid-19 complications today. She was undergoing treatment at private hospital in BHubaneswar.
4. Families of Covid victims cannot be paid compensation as it applies to natural disasters only, the government told the Supreme Court, adding that states cannot afford to pay ₹ 4 lakh to every victim.
5. Fuel prices have been on the upward trajectory for almost 50 days now, burning a hole in the commuters’ pockets. In Delhi, petrol and diesel prices per litre touched Rs 97.22/litre and Rs 87.97/litre respectively. Petrol price mounted to Rs 103.36 per litre in Mumbai, while diesel costs Rs95.44/litre. In Bangalore, petrol is Rs 100.47/litre and diesel is selling at Rs 93.26 per litre.

9. India has administered more than 27.62 crore coronavirus vaccine doses so far with a total of 33,72,742 jabs being given on Saturday, the Health Ministry said. The ministry, in a statement, said 20,49,101 vaccine doses were administered as the first dose and 78,394 as the second dose in the 18-44 age group on Saturday.

India has abstained on a UN General Assembly resolution on Myanmar, saying its views have not been reflected in the draft resolution and a “consultative and constructive” approach involving Myanmar’s neighbouring countries is important as the international community strives for the peaceful resolution of the issue.
