- ଦେଶରେ ଦୈନିକ କୋଭିଡ୍ ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ମାମଲାରେ ପ୍ରାୟ ୧୦ ପ୍ରତିଶତ ହ୍ରାସ ହୋଇଛି। ଆଜି ସକାଳ ୮ଟା ସୁଦ୍ଧା ବିଗତ ୨୪ ଘଣ୍ଟାରେ ଦେଶରେ ୩୦,୯୪୮ ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ମାମଲା ଚିହ୍ନଟ ହୋଇଛି।

- The Shree Jagannath Temple in Odisha’s Puri, which was closed for public since April 24 due to the COVID-19 situation, reopened for all devotees today.The darshan timings will be from 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM. The temple will remain closed for public darshan on all Saturdays and Sundays as a measure to contain the spread of COVID-19 and in order to sanitize the temple premises.

- ଆଫଗାନିସ୍ତାନକୁ ଅଧିକାର କରିନେବା ପରେ ପ୍ରଥମ ଫତଓ୍ୱା ଜାରି କରିଛି ତାଲିବାନ । ବିଶ୍ୱ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟରେ ପୁଅ ଓ ଝିଅମାନେ ଏକାଠି ପାଠ ପଢିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ ।
- ଗତ ମାର୍ଚ୍ଚ ମାସରେ ଖୁବ୍ ଚର୍ଚ୍ଚା ସାଉଣ୍ଟିଥିଲା ସୁଏଜ କେନାଲରେ ଫସି ରହିଥିବା ଏଭର ଗିଭେନ୍ ମାଲବାହୀ ଜାହାଜ । ସୁଏଜ କେନାଲରେ ଫସି ରହି ସମଗ୍ର ବିଶ୍ୱ ବାଣିଜ୍ୟକୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ପଟେ ଅଟକାଇ ଦେଇଥିବା ବୃହତ୍ ମାଲବାହୀ ଜାହାଜ ଏଭର ଗିଭେନ ଶୁକ୍ରବାରଦିନ ପୁଣି ଥରେ ସୁଏଜ କେନାଲ ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରିଛି ।

- ଆମେରିକା ପାଇଁ ମୋଷ୍ଟ ୱାଣ୍ଟେଡ ଆତଙ୍କବାଦୀ ଖଲିଲ ହକାନୀ କାବୁଲ ରାସ୍ତାରେ ମୁକ୍ତ ଭାବରେ ବୁଲୁଥିବାର ଦେଖିବାକୁ ମିଳିଛି | ଖଲିଲ ହକାନୀର ମୁଣ୍ଡ ଉପରେ ଆମେରିକା ୫ ମିଲିୟନ ଡଲାର ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ପ୍ରାୟ ୩୭ କୋଟି ୧୫ ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କାର ପୁରସ୍କାର ଘୋଷଣା କରିଥିଲା ।
- ଜାଇଡସ କାଡିଲା ଆସନ୍ତା ସେପ୍ଟେମ୍ବର ସୁଦ୍ଧା ନିଜର କରୋନା ଟିକା ଜାଇକୋଭ-ଡିର ପ୍ରଥମ ବ୍ୟାଚ୍ ବଜାରକୁ ଛାଡ଼ିବ । ସେପ୍ଟେମ୍ବର ଶେଷ ସୁଦ୍ଧା କମ୍ପାନି ପ୍ରାୟ ୩୦ରୁ ୪୦ ଲକ୍ଷ ମାତ୍ରା ଟିକା ଛାଡ଼ିବାକୁ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ରଖିଥିବାବେଳେ ଅକ୍ଟୋବରଠାରୁ ମାସକୁ ୧ କୋଟି ମାତ୍ରା ଟିକା ଛାଡ଼ିବ ।
- ତାଲିବାନ୍କୁ ଖୋଲାଖୋଲି ସମର୍ଥନ କରିବା ଚୀନ୍ ପାଇଁ ମହଙ୍ଗା ହୋଇଛି। ଚୀନ୍ର ନାଗରିକମାନେ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଏଭଳି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକୁ କଡ଼ା ବିରୋଧ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଚୀନ୍ ତାଲିବାନ୍କୁ ସମର୍ଥନ କରି ମାନବତାର ବିରୋଧୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରୋତ୍ସାହନ ଦେଇଛି ବୋଲି ବିଭିନ୍ନ ମହଲ ମତ ରଖିଛନ୍ତି।
- ଦେଶରେ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ କୋଭିଡ୍ ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ଏବେ ବି ଅଧିକ ରହୁଛି। ତେବେ କରୋନାଭାଇରସ୍ର ଡେଲ୍ଟା ପ୍ରଜାତି ପାଇଁ ଦେଶରେ ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ବଢ଼ୁଛି ବୋଲି ଇଣ୍ଡିଆନ୍ ସାର୍ସ୍ କଭ୍-୨ ଜେନମିକ୍ସ କନ୍ସୋର୍ଟିୟମ୍ ପକ୍ଷରୁ କୁହାଯାଇଛି।
- ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର ଅଖିଳ ଭାରତୀୟ ଆୟୁର୍ବିଜ୍ଞାନ ସଂସ୍ଥାନ(ଏମ୍ସ)ରେ ମାଗଣାରେ ଗରିବ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ବ୍ୟୟବହୁଳ ଇକ୍ମୋ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯିବ। ରେସନକାର୍ଡ଼ ଧାରୀ ଓ ଗରିବ ଶ୍ରେଣୀର ଲୋକଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏହି ସେବା ଉପଲବ୍ଧ ହେବ ବୋଲି ଏମ୍ସ ଅଧୀକ୍ଷକ ଡା.ସଚ୍ଚିଦାନନ୍ଦ ମହାନ୍ତି ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି।
- ଆତଙ୍କବାଦୀ ସଂଗଠନ ହିଜବୁଲ ମୁଜାହିଦ୍ଦିନର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ସୟଦ ସଲାହୁଦ୍ଦିନ ଭାରତ ପ୍ରତି ବିପଦ ଥିବା ଏକ ଅଡିଓ ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ଜାରି କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଏହି ଅଡିଓ ବାର୍ତ୍ତାରେ ସେ ଜାମ୍ମୁ କାଶ୍ମୀରରେ ଆତଙ୍କବାଦ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକଳାପର ବିସ୍ତାର କରିବାରେ ସହାୟତା ପାଇଁ ତାଲିବାନ ଆତଙ୍କବାଦୀଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁରୋଧ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଭାରତ ଉପରେ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସେମାନେ ତାଲିବାନ ସହାୟତା ଲୋଡିଛନ୍ତି।
- ଟୋକିଓ ପାରାଲିମ୍ପିକ୍ସରେ ସର୍ବବୃହତ ୫୪ଜଣିଆ ଭାରତୀୟ ଦଳ ପ୍ରତିନିଧିତ୍ବ କରିବେ। ଭାରତ ଉକ୍ତ ଟୋକିଓ ପାରାଲିମ୍ପିକ୍ସରେ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ କରିବା ସହିତ ୫ଟି ସ୍ବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ସହ ୧୫ରୁ ଅଧିକ ପଦକ ଜିତିବ ବୋଲି ଟୋକିଓ ପାରାଲିମ୍ପିକ୍ସ ଭାରତୀୟ ଚିଫ ଡି ମିଶନ ଗୁରୁସରଣ ସିଂହ କହିଛନ୍ତି।
- କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାରଙ୍କ ବଡ ଘୋଷଣା : ଚାକିରି ହରାଇଥିବା ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କୁ ୨୦୨୨ ଯାଏଁ ମିଳିବ PF ।
- ଜନ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଜରିଆରେ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସହ ଯୋଡି ହେଉଛନ୍ତି କେନ୍ଦ୍ରମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ । ବିଶାଳ ରାଲି ଜରିଆରେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଯୋଜନା ନେଇ କରୁଛନ୍ତି ସଚେତନ ।

- ଉତ୍ତରପ୍ରଦେଶ ପୂର୍ବତନ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କଲ୍ୟାଣ ସିଂଙ୍କ ପରଲୋକ, ୩ ଦିନିଆ ରାଜ୍ୟସ୍ତରୀୟ ଶୋକ ପାଳନ ।

- ୧୦୫ତମ ସମ୍ବିଧାନ ସଂଶୋଧନ ଆଇନକୁ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରପତିଙ୍କ ଅନୁମୋଦନ, ଏଣିକି ରାଜ୍ୟଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ମିଳିବ ପଛୁଆ ବର୍ଗଙ୍କୁ ଚିହ୍ନଟ କରିବାର ଅଧିକାର,ସାମାଜିକ ଓ ଶିକ୍ଷା ସ୍ତରରେ ପଛୁଆ ବର୍ଗଙ୍କୁ ଚିହ୍ନଟ କରିପାରିବ ରାଜ୍ୟ । ଏହା ଲୋକସଭାରେ ଚଳିତମାସ ୩ ତାରିଖରେ ଅନୁମୋଦନ ଲାଭ କରିଥିଲାବେଳେ ରାଜ୍ୟସଭାରେ ୧୧ ତାରିଖରେ ଅନୁମୋଦିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା।

- ମମତା ପଡ଼ିଆମୀଙ୍କ କଥା ରଖିଲେ ନବୀନ । ଜଣେ ସାଧାରଣ ମହିଳାଙ୍କ ଅନୁରୋଧକୁ ଯୋଜନାରେ ରୂପାନ୍ତରିତ କରିଛନ୍ତି ମଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ।

- ଆଫଗାନିସ୍ତାନର ଜଣେ ଅଧିକାରୀ ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ଆମେରିକା ସହ ତାଲିବାନର ହୋଇଥିବା ବୁଝାମଣା ଅନୁସାରେ ଆସନ୍ତା ଅଗଷ୍ଟ ୩୧ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ତାଲିବାନ ସରକାର ଗଢିପାରିବ ନାହିଁ । ଆଫଗାନିସ୍ତାନରୁ ଆମେରିକା ସୈନ୍ୟ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାହାରର ଶେଷ ତାରିଖ ହେଉଛି ୩୧ ଅଗଷ୍ଟ ।
- ଭାରତୀୟ ଫାର୍ମାସୁଟିକାଲ କମ୍ପାନି ଜାଇଡସ କାର୍ଡିଲା ଦ୍ବାରା ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରୋନା ଟିକା ଜାଇକୋଭ୍-ଡିକୁ ଭାରୀତୀୟ ଔଷଧ ମହାନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରକ (ଡିସିଜିଏ)ଙ୍କ ବିଶେଷଜ୍ଞ କମିଟି (ସବଜେକ୍ଟ ଏକ୍ସପର୍ଟ କମିଟି) ସବୁ ସବୁଜ ସଂକେତ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଛି ।
- ଆଫଗାନିସ୍ତାନ ଦଖଲ କରିବା ପରେ ଏବେ ତାଲିବାନ ତା’ର ଅସଲ ରୂପ ଦେଖାଇବାରେ ଲାଗିଛି । ଅନ୍ତର୍ଜାତୀୟ ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମର ରିପୋର୍ଟ ମୁତାବକ ତାଲିବାନ ଯୋଦ୍ଧାମାନେ କାନ୍ଦାହାର ଓ ହୈରାତରେ ବନ୍ଦ ଥିବା ଭାରତୀୟ ଦୂତାବାସର ତାଲା ଭାଙ୍ଗି ଭିତରକୁ ପଶିଥିଲେ ।
- ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ରୋଲ୍ ମଡ଼େଲ ହେବ ହିଞ୍ଜିଳି । 5-T ପଦ୍ଧତିରେ ପରିଚାଳିତ ଉଚ୍ଚବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ରୂପାନ୍ତରଣ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ହିଞ୍ଜିଳି ଓ ଶେରଗଡ଼ ବ୍ଳକର ପ୍ରାୟ ୫୦ଟି ଉଚ୍ଚ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ସ୍ଥାନ ପାଇଛି । ଶନିବାର ଭିଡ଼ିଓ କନଫରେନ୍ସିଂ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ଉଦଘାଟନ କରିବେ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ନବୀନ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକ ।
- ଆଫଗାନିସ୍ତାନ ଓ ଭାରତ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଥିବା ବନ୍ଧୁତ୍ବପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ଫାଟ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିଛି ତାଲିବାନ । ଭାରତ ସହ ଚାଲିଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ରପ୍ତାନୀ ଆମଦାନୀକୁ ବନ୍ଦ କରିଦେଇଛି ତାଲିବାନ । ଭାରତୀୟ ରପ୍ତାନୀ ମହାସଂଘ ସଂଗଠନର ସୂଚନା ଅନୁସାରେ, ତାଲିବାନ ପାକିସ୍ତାନ ମାର୍ଗ ଦେଇ ସମସ୍ତ ମାଲ ପରିବହନକୁ ବନ୍ଦ କରି ଦେଇଛି।
- ଆଫଗାନିସ୍ତାନ ହେଉଛି ଦୁନିଆର ସବୁଠାରୁ ଗରିବ ଦେଶ। ଏହା ସତ୍ତେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଏବଂ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଏସିଆ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଅବସ୍ଥିତ ଏହି ଦେଶରେ ୭୪ ଲକ୍ଷ କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କାର ଖଣିଜ ସମ୍ପଦ ଅଛି, ଯାହା ସମଗ୍ର ଦେଶର ଅର୍ଥନୀତିର ସ୍ଥିତିକୁ ବଦଳାଇପାରେ | ଭୂତତ୍ତ୍ବ ସର୍ବେକ୍ଷଣ ଅନୁଯାୟୀ ଆଫଗାନିସ୍ତାନର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ପ୍ରଦେଶରେ ଲୁହାପଥର, ତମ୍ବା, ସୁନା ଏବଂ ରୂପା ଜମା ରହିଛି। ଏହା ବ୍ୟତୀତ କିଛି ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବିରଳ ଖଣିଜ ପଦାର୍ଥ (ବିରଳ ଖଣିଜ ପଦାର୍ଥ) ମଧ୍ୟ ରହିଛି। ଏହି ଖଣିଜ ସମ୍ପଦ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ସବୁଠୁ ଅଧିକ ରହିଛି ଲିଥିୟମ୍ ।
- ଆଇଆଇଟି ଇଞ୍ଜିନିୟରିଂ ପାଠ୍ୟକ୍ରମକୁ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଭାଷାରେ ଯୋଡ଼ିବା ପାଇଁ ଆଇଆଇଟିର ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରାମର୍ଶ ଦେବା ସହ କେନ୍ଦ୍ରମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ଦୀର୍ଘ ୩୪ ବର୍ଷ ପରେ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦିଙ୍କ ନେତୃତ୍ବରେ ପ୍ରଣୟନ ହୋଇଥବା ନୂଆ ଜାତୀୟ ଶିକ୍ଷା ନୀତିରେ ବହୁ ଭାଷାଭାଷୀ ବିଷୟକୁ ଗୁରୁତ୍ବ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି। ଯୁବକ ଯୁବତୀଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ବାବଲମ୍ବୀ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଓଡିଆ ଭାଷା ସମେତ ଦେଶର ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଭାଷା ଯଥା ବଙ୍ଗାଳୀ, ମଲାୟାଲାମ, ମରାଠୀ, ଗୁଜୁରାଟୀ,ତେଲୁଗୁ ଭଳି ଆଂଚଳିକ ଭାଷାକୁ ପ୍ରଧାନ୍ୟ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି ।

- India today logged 36,401 fresh coronavirus cases, which is 3.4 per cent higher than yesterday's numbers, taking the total tally of cases to 3,23,22,258. The death count has climbed to 4,33,049 with 530 more fatalities.

- The Supreme Court on 18 Aug (Wednesday) passed an interim order allowing women to take the admission exam to National Defence Academy (NDA), which was previously only open to men. The top court directed that women can sit for exams for entry in NDA, The admission to the academy will be subject to the final orders of the Court.
