- ରାଜ୍ୟର ବୁଣାକାରମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ନବୀନ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକ ସ୍ଵତନ୍ତ୍ର ପ୍ୟାକେଜ୍ ଘୋଷଣା କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଏହି ପ୍ୟାକେଜ୍ରେ କଂକ୍ରିଟ ହୋଇ ନ ଥିବା ୧୫,୦୦୦ ଲୁମ୍ ପିଟ୍କୁ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟକ୍ରମେ ଆସନ୍ତା ତିନି ବର୍ଷରେ କଂକ୍ରିଟ କରାଯିବ। ବୁଣାକାରଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ସ୍ବତନ୍ତ୍ର ପ୍ୟାକେଜ ଘୋଷଣା କଲେ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ, ବିନା ସୁଧରେ ପଚାଶ ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ମିଳିବ ଋଣ। ପ୍ରତି ତନ୍ତ ବସିବା ସ୍ଥଳ କଂକ୍ରିଟ ପାଇଁ ୭୦୦୦ ଟଙ୍କା ଲେଖାଏଁ ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ କରାଯିବ।

- ମହାନଗର ନିଗମ ମେୟର ଓ ପୌରପାଳିକା/ଏନ୍ଏସି ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ଆଉ ପରୋକ୍ଷ ଭାବେ ନିର୍ବାଚିତ ହେବେନି। ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭୋଟର୍ମାନେ ସିଧାସଳଖ ନିର୍ବାଚିତ କରିବେ।

- ଆସନ୍ତା ସେପ୍ଟେମ୍ବର ୬ ତାରିଖରୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେବ ଓଡିଶା ଯୁଗ୍ମ ପ୍ରବେଶିକା ପରୀକ୍ଷା (OJEE) । ସେପ୍ଟେମ୍ବର ୬ ତାରିଖରେ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇ ୧୮ ତାରିଖରେ ଶେଷ ହେବ । ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ୩ଟି ସିଫ୍ଟରେ ପରୀକ୍ଷା ହେବା ନେଇ ସୂଚନା ମିଳିଛି । ଏ ନେଇ ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି OJEE ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ।
- ଆଥ୍ଲେଟ ଦୂତି ଚାନ୍ଦଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ନେବାକୁ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବର ଡିସିପିଙ୍କୁ ନିର୍ଦେଶ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ହାଇକୋର୍ଟ । ଏକ ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମ ସଂସ୍ଥାକୁ ଅଶାଳୀନ ଭାଷାରେ ଗାଳିଗୁଲଜ କରିବା ନେଇ ହାଇକୋର୍ଟରେ ମାମଲା ରୁଜୁ ହୋଇଥିଲା । ଏହାର ଶୁଣାଣି କରି ରାୟ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ହାଇକୋର୍ଟ ।

- India reported 40,120 new COVID-19 cases and 585 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to a health ministry update on Friday. India's active caseload currently is 3,85,227, which comprise 1.20% of the total cases.
- Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday announced a special package for the weavers of the state following reports that the Covid-19 had badly hit their livelihood.
