- ଯଶସ୍ୱୀ ସାରସ୍ୱତ ସାଧକ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗତ ମନୋଜ ଦାସଙ୍କର ସ୍ମୃତିରେଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ ସୃଜନାତ୍ମକ ସାହିତ୍ୟ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରୁଥିବା ଓଡ଼ିଆ ସାହିତ୍ୟିକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆନ୍ତର୍ଜାତୀୟ ପୁରସ୍କାର ରାଶି ବାବଦକୁ ୧୦ ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିବାକୁ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ହୋଇଥିଲା । ନୂତନ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ଅନୁଯାୟୀ ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ ସୃଜନାତ୍ମକ ସାହିତ୍ୟ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରୁଥିବା ଭାରତୀୟ ସାହିତ୍ୟିକ ମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ପୁରସ୍କାର ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯିବ ।
- ସେହିପରି ଯୁବପିଢ଼ି ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଉଭୟ ଇଂରାଜୀ ଓ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ସାହିତ୍ୟ ପ୍ରତି ଆଗ୍ରହ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରତିବର୍ଷ ହାଇସ୍କୁଲ ସ୍ତରରେ ଇଂରାଜୀ ଓ ସାହିତ୍ୟରେ ମୌଳିକ ରଚନା ପାଇଁ ‘ମନୋଜ-କିଶୋର ସାହିତ୍ୟ ପ୍ରତିଭା ସମ୍ମାନ’ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯିବା ପାଇଁ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ହୋଇଥିଲା । ଏଥି ନିମନ୍ତେ ଉଭୟ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଓ ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଗୋଟିଏ ପୁରସ୍କାର ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯିବ । ପୁରସ୍କାର ବାବଦରେ ଏକ ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯିବ ବୋଲି ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ହୋଇଥିଲା।
- ସରକାର ନେଇଥିବା ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ଅନୁସାରେ, ୧୨ ବର୍ଷରୁ କମ୍ ବୟସର ପିଲାଙ୍କୁ ଟିକା ଦେବାପାଇଁ ସରକାର ସବୁଜ ସଙ୍କେତ ଦେଇ ସାରିଛନ୍ତି । ସୂଚନାଯୋଗ୍ୟ, ୫ରୁ ୧୨ ବର୍ଷ ପିଲାଙ୍କୁ କୋର୍ବେଭାକ୍ସ ଏବଂ ୬ରୁ ୧୨ ବର୍ଷ ପିଲାଙ୍କୁ କୋଭାକ୍ସିନ୍ ଟିକା ଦିଆଯିବ । ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଜରୁରୀକାଳୀନ ଅନୁମତି ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯାଇଛି ।
- ବିଶ୍ୱର ସବୁଠୁ ଧନୀ କୁହାଯାଉଥିବା ଏଲନ ମସ୍କ ମଙ୍ଗଳବାର ସୋସିଆଲ ମିଡିଆ ପ୍ଲାଟଫର୍ମ ଟ୍ବିଟ୍ରକୁ ୪୪ ବିଲିୟନ ଡଲାରରେ କିଣିଛନ୍ତି । ବ୍ୟାପକ ମୁଲଚାଲ ପରେ ସେୟାର ହୋଲ୍ଡରଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରତି ସେୟାର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ବାବଦରେ ସେ ୫୪.୨୦ ଡଲାର ନଗଦ ଦେବାକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବ ଦେଇଥିଲେ ।

- India reported at least 2,483 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday, bringing the total number of infections to 4,30,62,569. According to the Union Health Ministry, the active cases decreased to 15,536,

- Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra Friday asked the superintendents of police (SPs) to take stern action against those sharing fake question papers of Class X and XII board examinations on social media.
- Five states -- Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and Kerala -- account for 49 per cent of the overall extraction of groundwater in the entire country while the rest of the country accounts for 50 per cent, government data between 2004 and 2020 has shown.
