- In a report released today, WHO said between January 2020 and December 2021, there were 4.7 million Covid deaths in India -- 10 times the official figures and almost a third of Covid deaths globally. The global figure, according to the report, was 15 million -- more than double the official figure of 6 million.India has recorded roughly 520,000 fatalities due to Covid in the same period.

- ଅନ୍ତିର୍ଜାତୀୟ କ୍ରିକେଟ ପରିଚାଳନା ପରିଷଦ (ଆଇସିସି) ପକ୍ଷରୁ ବୁଧବାର ପୁରୁଷ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଜାତୀୟ କ୍ରିକେଟ ଦଳର ୨୦୨୧-୨୨ ବାର୍ଷିକ ମାନ୍ୟତା ପ୍ରକାଶ ପାଇଛି। ଆଇସିସି ଦ୍ବାରା ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ଏହି ମାନ୍ୟତାରେ ଭାରତୀୟ ଟ୍ବେଣ୍ଟି୨୦ ଦଳ ଶୀର୍ଷ ସ୍ଥାନ ହାସଲ କରିଥିବା ବେଳେ ଦିନିକିଆରେ ନ୍ୟୁଜିଲାଣ୍ଡ ଓ ଟେଷ୍ଟରେ ଅଷ୍ଟ୍ରେଲିଆ ଶୀର୍ଷ ସ୍ଥାନ ହାସଲ କରିଛନ୍ତି।
- ଟ୍ୱିଟରର ମାଲିକ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ହେବା ପରେ ଦିନକୁ ଦିନ ଟ୍ୱିଟରକୁ ନେଇ ନୂଆନୂଆ ଖବର ସାମ୍ନାକୁ ଆସୁଛି । ଏଲନ୍ ମସ୍କ ଟ୍ୱିଟରକୁ କିଣିବା ପରେ ଜୋରଦାର ଚର୍ଚ୍ଚାରେ ରହିଛି ଟ୍ୱିଟର । ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନର ଖବର ଅନୁସାରେ ଏଣିକି ଟ୍ୱିଟର ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ମାଗଣା ଟ୍ୱିଟ୍ ଉପରେ ରୋକ୍ ଲଗାଇବ । ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ଟ୍ୱିଟ୍ କଲେ ଉପଭୋକ୍ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦେୟ ଦେବାକୁ ପଡ଼ିବ ।
- ତାପଜ ଶକ୍ତି ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପଗୁଡିକ ଉପରୁ ନିର୍ଭରଶୀଳତା ହ୍ରାସ କରିବା ଏବଂ ପରିବେଶ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଭାରତ ବିକଳ୍ପ ତଥା ପରିବେଶ ଉପଯୋଗୀ ଶକ୍ତି ଉତ୍ପାଦନକୁ ଅଗ୍ରାଧିକାର ଦେଉଛି। ଉପକୂଳ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ୩୦ ହଜାର ମେଗାୱାଟ ପବନ ଚାଳିତ ଶକ୍ତି ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ ସହିତ ୫୦ ହଜାର ମେଗାୱାଟ ସୌର ଶକ୍ତି ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ ସ୍ଥାପନ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯୋଜନା କରାଯାଇଛି।
- ସମ୍ଭାବ୍ୟ ବାତ୍ୟାକୁ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ରଖି ଭାରତୀୟ ପାଣିପାଗ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପକ୍ଷରୁ ସୂଚନା ଦିଆଯାଇଛି । ଆଣ୍ଡାମାନ ସାଗରରେ ଆଜି ଘୂର୍ଣ୍ଣିବଳୟ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଥିବା କହିଛନ୍ତି ଆଇଏମଡି ଡିଜି ମୃତ୍ୟୁଞ୍ଜୟ ମହାପାତ୍ର । ତାହା ସହ ଆଇଏମଡି ଡିଜିଙ୍କ କହିବା ଅନୁଯାୟୀ ଆସନ୍ତା ୬ତାରିଖ ବେଳକୁ ଏହା ଲଘୁଚାପ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ପରିଣତ ହେବ ।
- ଜୁଲାଇ ୧ରେ ବିଶ୍ବନିୟନ୍ତା ମହାପ୍ରଭୁ ଶ୍ରୀଜଗନ୍ନାଥଙ୍କ ଘୋଷଯାତ୍ରା। ଏହି ଉପଲକ୍ଷେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି। କୋଭିଡ୍ ଜନିତ କଟକଣା ପାଇଁ ଦୁଇବର୍ଷ ଧରି ରଥଯାତ୍ରା ସମନ୍ବୟ ବୈଠକ ବନ୍ଦ ରହିବା ପରେ ଚଳିତ ବର୍ଷ ରଥଯାତ୍ରା ପାଇଁ ପୁଣିଥରେ ସମନ୍ବୟ ବୈଠକ ଡକାଯାଇଛି।
- ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ତଥା ଉଗ୍ରବାଦର ମୁକାବିଲା ସମୟରେ ସହିଦ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଯବାନଙ୍କ ପରିଜନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ସହାୟତା ରାଶି ଦ୍ୱିଗୁଣିତ କରିଛନ୍ତି ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର। ଏହାକୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରି ୧୦ ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କା କରାଯାଇଛି। ପୂର୍ବେ ଏହି ସହାୟତା ରାଶି ୫ ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କା ଥିଲା। ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ନବୀନ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକ ବୁଧବାର ଏହାର ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି।
- ରାଣା ଦମ୍ପତ୍ତିଙ୍କୁ ବୁଧବାର ସେସନ କୋର୍ଟରୁ ସର୍ତ୍ତମୂଳକ ଜାମିନ ମିଳିଛି। ସ୍ଵତନ୍ତ୍ର ଜଜ ୫୦ ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କାର ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଗତ ମୁଚାଲିକାରେ ଜାମିନ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଥିଲେ। କୋର୍ଟ ସର୍ତ୍ତ ରଖିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ରାଣା ଦମ୍ପତି ମାମଲାର ମିଡିଆରେ କୌଣସି ବୟାନ ଦେଇପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ କି ପ୍ରମାଣକୁ ନଷ୍ଟ କରିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ଏପରି କଲେ ତାଙ୍କ ବେଲ୍ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ରଦ୍ଦ କରାଯିବ। ତା ସହିତ ତଦନ୍ତ ସମୟରେ ରାଣା ଦମ୍ପତି ଏଜେନ୍ସିଙ୍କର ପୂରା ସହଯୋଗ କରିବେ ବୋଲି କୋର୍ଟ ସର୍ତ୍ତ ରିଖିଛନ୍ତି।
- ବୁଧବାର ଜାପାନ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଫୁମିଓ କିଶିଦାଙ୍କ ସହ ବହୁ ଜାପାନ ଅଧିକାରୀଙ୍କ ରୁଷ ପ୍ରବେଶ ଉପରେ ପ୍ରତିବନ୍ଧକ ଲଗାଇଛି ମସ୍କୋ। ରୁଷ ବିରୋଧରେ ଅନ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରୀୟ ପ୍ରତିବନ୍ଧକ ଲାଗୁ କରିବାରେ ଜାପାନ ସାମିଲ ଥିବା ଯୋଗୁଁ ଏପରି କରାଯାଇଥିବା ମସ୍କୋ କହିଛି।
- ଶୁକ୍ର ଗ୍ରହର କକ୍ଷପଥକୁ ଅନ୍ତରୀକ୍ଷ ଯାନ ପଠାଇବାକୁ ଯୋଜନା ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି କରିଛି ଇସ୍ରୋ। ବୁଧବାର ଏ ସଂପର୍କରେ ଆୟୋଜିତ ବୈଠକରେ ଏହି ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ଇସ୍ରୋ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ଏସ ସୋମନାଥ।
- ରେପୋ ରେଟକୁ ୦.୪ ପ୍ରତିଶତ ବଢାଇ ୪.୪୦ ପ୍ରତିଶତ କରାଯାଇଛି । ଆରବିଆଇର ଏହି ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ସେୟାର ବଜାର ସହ ଆର୍ଥିକ ବଜାର ସହ ଜଡିତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଚକିତ କରାଇଛି। ଗତମାସରେ ଆରବିଆଇ ମୁଦ୍ରାନୀତି ସମୀକ୍ଷାରେ ରେପୋ ରେଟରେ କୌଣସି ପ୍ରକାର ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରି ନଥିଲେ।
- ବାୟୁରେ ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ହେବା ନେଇ ସନ୍ଦେହ କରାଯାଉଥିଲା। କିନ୍ତୁ ଏବେ ଏହା ସୁନିଶ୍ଚିତ ହୋଇଛି। ମହାମାରୀବିଜ୍ଞାନୀମାନେ ବାୟୁରେ କରୋନା ବ୍ୟାପୁଥିବାର ପ୍ରମାଣ ପାଇଛନ୍ତି।
- ଆମ୍ ଆଦମୀ ପାର୍ଟି ଜାତୀୟ ରାଜଧାନୀର ଧାର୍ମିକସ୍ଥରୁ ଲାଉଡ୍ ସ୍ପିକର ବ୍ୟବହାର ସହ ଜଡିତ ବିଜେପିର ଦାବି ଅନୁଯାୟୀ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିବାକୁ ଦିଲ୍ଲୀ ପୋଲିସ ସହ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆଲୋଚନା କରିଛି । ଆପ୍ ଏକ ବିବୃତ୍ତିରେ କହିଛି ଯେ, ଆମ୍ ଆଦମୀ ପାର୍ଟି ସୈଦ୍ଧାନ୍ତିକ ରୂପରେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଧାର୍ମିକସ୍ଥଳ ଏବଂ ଆସ୍ଥା କେନ୍ଦ୍ରରୁ ଲାଉଡ୍ ସ୍ପିକର ହଟାଇବାରେ ସହମତ ଅଟେ ।
- ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ରୁଷିଆରୁ ଭାରତର ତେଲ କିଣାକୁ ନେଇ ନାନା କଥା ପ୍ରକାଶ ପାଉଛି। ବାସ୍ତବ ତଥ୍ୟକୁ ନ ଯାଇ ଅନେକେ ମନଗଢ଼ା କଥା ପ୍ରଚାର କରୁଛନ୍ତି। ପ୍ରେସ୍ ସ୍ବାଧୀନତା ନାଁରେ ସେମାନେ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଭୁଲ୍ ତଥ୍ୟ ଦେଇ ବିଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ କରୁଛନ୍ତି। ଏହି ପ୍ରସଙ୍ଗରେ ଭାରତର ପେଟ୍ରୋଲିୟମ୍ ଓ ପ୍ରାକୃତିକ ଗ୍ୟାସ୍ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣାଳୟ ପକ୍ଷରୁ କିଛି ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟୀକରଣ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି।
- ରୁଷ୍-ୟୁକ୍ରେନ୍ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ୭୦ ଦିନ ପୂରିଥିବା ବେଳେ ରୁଷ୍ ପୂର୍ବ ୟୁକ୍ରେନ୍ର ବ୍ୟାପକ ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ନିଜ ଦଖଲକୁ ନେଇଛି। ୟୁକ୍ରେନ୍ର ଯେଉଁ ଅଞ୍ଚଳକୁ ରୁଷ ନିଜ ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣକୁ ନେଇଛି ସେଠାରେ ସାମରିକ ଏବଂ ରାଜନୈତିକ ଭାବେ ନିଜର ସ୍ଥିତି ସୁଦୃଢ଼ କରିବା ଉପରେ ଫୋକସ୍ କରିଛି।
- ଫ୍ରାନ୍ସରେ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହେବାକୁ ଥିବା କାନ୍ସ ଚଳଚ୍ଚିତ୍ର ମହୋତ୍ସବ ଉପଲକ୍ଷେ ଆୟୋଜିତ ହେବାକୁ ଥିବା ମାର୍ସେ ଡୁ ଚଳଚ୍ଚିତ୍ର ମହୋତ୍ସବରେ ଭାରତ ବିଧିବଦ୍ଧ ଭାବେ ପ୍ରଥମ ସମ୍ମାନିତ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ଭାବେ ଅଂଶଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବ।
- ଉତ୍ତରପ୍ରଦେଶର ଲଳିତପୁରରେ ଏକ ଅଭାବନୀୟ ଘଟଣା ଘଟିଛି। ଜଣେ ୧୩ ବର୍ଷୀୟା ନାବାଳିକା ୪ ଜଣଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ଗଣଦୁଷ୍କର୍ମର ଶିକାର ହେବାପରେ ଦୁଷ୍କର୍ମ ମାମଲା ରୁଜୁ କରିବାକୁ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଥାନାକୁ ଯାଇଥିଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଥାନାରେ ସେ ପୁଣିଥରେ ପୁଲିସ ଦ୍ବାରା ଦୁଷ୍କର୍ମର ଶିକାର ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି।
- ‘ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଲାଇଭ୍’ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ପୂର୍ବତନ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ତଥା ଲୋକପ୍ରିୟ ଜନନେତା ସ୍ଵର୍ଗତ ବିଜୁ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକଙ୍କ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ତୈଳଚିତ୍ର ବିଧାନସଭାକୁ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯାଇଛି।
