1. ଲୋକସଭାରେ ମହିଳା ସଂରକ୍ଷଣ ବିଲ୍ ପାସ୍ ହୋଇଛି । ନାରୀ ଶକ୍ତି ବନ୍ଦନ ଅଧିନିୟମ ନାଁରେ ଏହି ବିଲ୍ ( ୧୨୮ ତମ ସମ୍ବିଧାନ ସଂଶୋଧନ ବିଲ୍) ଦୀର୍ଘ ୭ ଘଣ୍ଟାର ବିତର୍କ ପରେ ଗୃହୀତ ହୋଇଛି। ବିଲ ସପକ୍ଷରେ ୪୫୪ ଓ ବିପକ୍ଷରେ ମାତ୍ର ୨ଟି ବିଲ୍ ପଡିଥିଲା । ବିଲ୍‌ରେ ଲୋକସଭା ଓ ରାଜ୍ୟ ବିଧାନସଭାରେ ମହିଳାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ୩୩ ପ୍ରତିଶତ ସ୍ଥାନ ସଂରକ୍ଷଣ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ରହିଛି।

6. କର୍ଣ୍ଣାଟକ ହାଇକୋର୍ଟ ମଙ୍ଗଳବାର କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାରଙ୍କୁ ବଡ଼ ପରାମର୍ଶ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି। ସାମାଜିକ ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମ ବ୍ୟବହାର ନିମନ୍ତେ ସର୍ବନିମ୍ନ ବୟସ ଧାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିବାକୁ କହିଛନ୍ତି। ଏହା ସହିତ ଇଣ୍ଟରନେଟରୁ ମୁଣ୍ଡ ଖରାପ କରୁଥିବା କଣ୍ଟେଣ୍ଟ (ବିଷୟବସ୍ତୁ) ହଟାଇବାକୁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି। ଟ୍ବିଟରର ଏକ ମାମଲାର ଶୁଣାଣି କରି ଜଷ୍ଟିସ ଜି ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଏବଂ ଜଷ୍ଟିସ ବିଜୟକୁମାର ଏ ପାଟିଲଙ୍କ ଖଣ୍ଡପୀଠ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ସାମାଜିକ ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମକୁ ବନ୍ଦ କରିଦେଲେ ଭଲ ହେବ।

A five-judge bench of the apex court referred the issue to a larger seven-judge bench.

15. Retirement fund body EPFO has recorded the highest net member addition of 18.75 lakh in July 2023, according to the payroll data released Wednesday. The labour ministry in a statement said that the addition of 18.75 lakh during the month is the highest since the first publishing of EPFO payroll data from April 2018 covering the period of September 2017 onwards.
