- The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s security was breached during Punjab visit on Wednesday. Taking cognisance of the security breach, the MHA has sought a detailed report from the state government.

- ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ନବୀନ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକ ପ୍ରାଥମିକ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟଗୁଡିକରେ ଶିକ୍ଷାଦାନରେ ନିୟୋଜିତ କନିଷ୍ଠ ଶିକ୍ଷକଙ୍କ ଦରମା ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରିବା ପାଇଁ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ନେଇଛନ୍ତି । ଏହି ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ଅନୁଯାୟୀ କନିଷ୍ଠ ଶିକ୍ଷକ (ଚୁକ୍ତି ଭିତ୍ତିକ) ଏବଂ କନିଷ୍ଠ ଶିକ୍ଷକଙ୍କ ଦରମା ୫୦ ପ୍ରତିଶତ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରାଯାଇଛି । ୨୦୨୨ ଜାନୁଆରୀ ପହିଲାରୁ ଏହି ବର୍ଦ୍ଧିତ ଦରମା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକାରୀ ହେବ ।

- The Indian Navy's 1971 Indo-Pak war veteran Vice Admiral S H Sarma passed away in Bhubaneswar Monday, officials said. Sarma, who turned 99 last December, was the Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet during the 1971 war, they mentioned. India had defeated Pakistan in the 1971 war leading to the creation of Bangladesh. Officials said Sarma also served as Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Eastern Naval Command.
- India recorded 33,750 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, 22 per cent higher than the previous day, while 123 people died due to the virus in the same time period. The number of Omicron cases in the country rose to 1,700.
- The Centre requested the Supreme Court on Monday to schedule a hearing in a matter related to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) quota in connection with the NEET-PG admissions.

- A court in Raipur has rejected the bail plea of religious leader Kalicharan Maharaj, who has been jailed for allegedly making derogatory remarks against Mahatma Gandhi. Kalicharan was remanded to judicial custody till January 13.
- CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy released the third tranche of YSR Rythu Bharosa-PM Kisan scheme by crediting Rs 1,036 crore into the bank accounts of 50.58 lakh farmers for the third consecutive year.

- Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) on 03 Jan announced that its Director (Human Resources) Dr Alka Mittal has been entrusted with additional charge of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). She has become the first woman to head ONGC.
- Over 4,000 flights were cancelled and more than 11,000 were delayed on Sunday following disruptions in air travel due to surge of the COVID-19 Omicron variant and adverse weather conditions. As per tracking website FlightAware.com, 2,400 flights departing from or within the US were cancelled. FlightAware also noted that SkyWest and SouthWest airlines recorded the most number of cancellations.
- In a significant development, the Gauhati High Court on Monday called upon the state government to reveal the details of all the encounters that have been taking place in the northeastern state since May amid allegations of human rights abuse.

- ସାରା ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ବିଦେଶାଗତ ପକ୍ଷୀଙ୍କୁ ବନ ବିଭାଗ ତରଫରୁ ଗଣନା କରାଯାଉଥିବା ବେଳେ ବାଙ୍କୀ ସ୍ଥିତ ଅରାଚଣ୍ଡୀକୁ କିନ୍ତୁ ବନ ବିଭାଗ ଧ୍ୟାନ ଦିଏ ନାହିଁ । ପ୍ରତିବର୍ଷ ୧୦ ହଜାରରୁ ଅଧିକ ପକ୍ଷୀଙ୍କର ସମାଗମ ହେଉଥିବା ବେଳେ ଘରୋଇ ଉଦ୍ୟମରେ ସେଣ୍ଟର ଫର ରୁରାଲ ଟୁରିଜିମ୍ ଡେଭଲପମେଣ୍ଟ (ସି. ଆର. ଟି. ଡି) ନାମକ ଏକ ସ୍ୱେଚ୍ଛାସେବୀ ସଂଗଠନ ୨୦୧୭ରୁ ଅରାଚଣ୍ଡୀ ଠାରେ ପକ୍ଷୀ ଗଣନା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ହାତକୁ ନେଇଛି । ସିଆରଟିଡିର ସମ୍ପାଦକ ଲଳିତ ମୋହନ ପଣ୍ଡା ଙ୍କ ନେତୃତ୍ୱରେ ଆଜି ୨୦୨୨ ମସିହା ପାଇଁ ଅରାଚଣ୍ଡୀରେ ୱେଟ୍ ଲ୍ୟାଣ୍ଡ ପକ୍ଷୀ ଗଣନା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି ।
- ବରଗଡ଼ ଏସିସି ସିମେଣ୍ଟ କାରଖାନାର ବରିଷ୍ଠ ଅଧିକାରୀ ଜମିଲ ଖାଁଙ୍କ ନାବାଳକ ପୁଅକୁ ରବିବାର ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟାରେ ସିମେଣ୍ଟନଗର କଲୋନୀରୁ ଅପହରଣ କରି ନିଆଯାଇଥିଲା। କିନ୍ତୁ ପୁଲିସ ତନାଘନା ପରେ ଅପହରଣକାରୀ ବିଳମ୍ବିତ ରାତିରେ ତାକୁ ଆଣି ଘରଠାରୁ ପ୍ରାୟ ୧ କିଲୋମିଟର ଦୂରରେ ଛାଡ଼ି ଦେଇଥିଲେ।
- ୬ଷ୍ଠରୁ ଦ୍ବାଦଶ ଶ୍ରେଣୀ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ କ୍ଲାସ ରୁମ୍ ଶିକ୍ଷା ପୂର୍ବ ଭଳି ଜାରି ରହିବ। ଆସନ୍ତା ୫ରୁ ୮ ତାରିଖ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ମାଧ୍ୟମିକ ଶିକ୍ଷା ପରିଷଦ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପରିଚାଳିତ ଦଶମ ଶ୍ରେଣୀ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ସମେଟିଭ୍-୧ ପରୀକ୍ଷା ପୂର୍ବ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧାରିତ ସୂଚୀ ଅନୁଯାୟୀ କରାଯିବ। ସ୍ଥଗିତ ରହିଲା ପ୍ରଥମରୁ ପଞ୍ଚମ ଶ୍ରେଣୀ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସ୍କୁଲ ।

- ନନ୍ଦନବନ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ ପାଇଁ ୩୦ କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କା ପ୍ରାଥମିକ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ମଞ୍ଜୁର କରିଥିବାବେଳେ ୪ କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଆରମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ ଯୋଗାଇଦେଇଛନ୍ତି। ସମୟ ସାପେକ୍ଷ ହୋଇଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଏହି ମହତ୍ୱାକାଂକ୍ଷୀ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକାରୀ ହେଲେ ବିଶ୍ୱର ପର୍ଯ୍ୟଟନ ମାନଚିତ୍ରରେ ବୌଦ୍ଧଜିଲା ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନ ଅଧିକାର କରିପାରିବ।

- ୨୦୨୨ ମଧ୍ୟଭାଗରେ ଭାରତରେ ୫ଜି ଇଣ୍ଟରନେଟ୍ ସେବା ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେବ। ପ୍ରାରମ୍ଭରେ ୧୩ଟି ସହରରେ ଏହି ସେବା ଯୋଗାଇ ଦିଆଯିବ । ଏଥିମଧ୍ୟରେ ଅହମ୍ମଦାବାଦ, ବେଙ୍ଗାଲୁରୁ, ଚଣ୍ଡିଗଡ଼, ଚେନ୍ନାଇ, ଦିଲ୍ଲୀ, ଗାନ୍ଧିନଗର, ଗୁରୁଗ୍ରାମ, ହାଇଦ୍ରାବାଦ, ଜାମନଗର, କୋଲକାତା, ଲଖନୌ, ମୁମ୍ବାଇ ଏବଂ ପୁଣେ ରହିଛି ।
- ୨୦୨୨ରେ ମାନବ ବିହୀନ ମିଶନ ଯୋଜନା କରିଛି ଇସ୍ରେ। । ଇଣ୍ଡିଆନ୍ ସ୍ପେସ୍ ରିସର୍ଚ୍ଚ ଇନଷ୍ଟିଚ୍ୟୁଟ୍ ବା (ଇସ୍ରେ।) ୨୦୨୨ରେ ଦୁଇଟି ମାନବ ବିହୀନ ମିଶନ ସଂପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିବାକୁ ଯୋଜନା କରିଛି । ଭାରତ ୨୦୨୨ର ଆରମ୍ଭରେ ଏକ ମାନବ ବିହୀନ ମିଶନ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିବ ।

- ଦେଶରେ ସାମଗ୍ରିକ କରୋନା ଟିକାକରଣ ଶୁକ୍ରବାର ୧୪୫ କୋଟି ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରିଛି । ଆଜି ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟା ସୁଦ୍ଧା ୧୪୫ କୋଟି ୧୫ ଲକ୍ଷ ୮୦ ହଜାରରୁ ଅଧିକ ପାନ ଟିକା ଦିଆଯାଇଛି ।
- ଜାନୁୟାରୀ ପହିଲା ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦୀ ପିଏମ୍-କିଷାନର ଦଶମ କିସ୍ତି ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିବେ । ଦଶ କୋଟି ଚାଷୀ ପରିବାରଙ୍କୁ ୨୦ହଜାର କୋଟିରୁ ଅଧିକ ଅର୍ଥ ହସ୍ତାନ୍ତର ହେବ।
