- Elections will be held June 10 to fill 57 Rajya Sabha seats from 15 states falling vacant due to the retirement of members on different dates between June and August, the Election Commission of India (ECI) said Thursday.

- ଭାରତରେ ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ପୋଲିସ ହାଜତରେ ୬ ଜଣଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ଘଟୁଛି। କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଗୃହ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣାଳୟ ଲୋକସଭାରେ ଜାତୀୟ ମାନବାଧିକାର ଆୟୋଗ(ଏନଏଚଆରସି)ର ତଥ୍ୟ ଉପସ୍ଥାପନ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଏନଏଚଆରସିର ରିପୋର୍ଟ ଅନୁଯାୟୀ, ୨୦୨୧-୨୨ ଫେବୃଆରୀ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ବିଚାର ବିଭାଗୀୟ ହାଜତରେ ୨୧୫୨ ଜଣଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ଘଟିଥିବା ବେଳେ ପୋଲିସ ହେପାଜତରେ ୧୫୫ ଜଣଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ଘଟିଛି। ଏହାର ଅର୍ଥ ହେପାଜତରେ ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ୬ ଜଣଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ଘଟିଛି।

- କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଗୃହମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଦେଶରେ ଡିଜିଟାଲ ଜନ ଗଣନା ହେବାଦ୍ୱାରା ୧୦୦ ପ୍ରତିଶତ ସଠୀକ ତଥ୍ୟ ମିଳିବ ବୋଲି ଆଶା କରାଯାଉଛି। ସେ କହିଛନ୍ତି “ଆଗାମୀ ଜନନଗଣନା ଇଲୋକ୍ଟ୍ରୋନିକ ମୋଡ଼ରେ ହେବ । ଏହାଦ୍ୱାରା ଆଗାମୀ ୨୫ ବର୍ଷ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଦେଶରେ ବିକାସର ଆଧାରରେ ଯୋଜାନା ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରାହେବ”।
- ଆଜାଦି କା ଅମୃତ ମହୋତ୍ସବ (ସ୍ୱାଧୀନତାର ୭୫ତମ ବାର୍ଷିକ)ର ଭାବନା ଓ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦିଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିକୋଣରୁ ଭାରତ ସରକାର ଧାରା ୧୨୪-ଏ(ଦେଶଦ୍ରୋହ) ଆଇନର ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାକୁ ପୁଣି ଯାଞ୍ଚ ଓ ପୁନର୍ବିଚାର ଲାଗି ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ନେଇଥିବା ଉଲ୍ଲେଖ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଏଣୁ ଯେଉଁ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଆଇନର ଯାଞ୍ଚ ନ ହୋଇଛି ସେ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଦେଶଦ୍ରୋହ ମାମଲା ନ ହଟାଇବାକୁ ସରକାର ଶୀର୍ଷ ନ୍ୟାୟାଳୟଙ୍କୁ ନିବେଦନ କରିଛନ୍ତି।

- ଗତ ୨୪ ଘଣ୍ଟାରେ ଭାରତରେ ୩,୪୫୧ ନୂଆ କୋଭିଡ୍-୧୯ ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ମାମଲା ଚିହ୍ନଟ ହୋଇଛି । ଏହା ସହିତ ମୋଟ୍ ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ୪,୩୧,୦୨,୧୯୪କୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଛି। ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ସକ୍ରିୟ ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ୨୦,୬୩୫କୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଛି।
- ଆମେରିକାର ପ୍ରଥମ ମହିଳା ଜିଲ୍ ବାଇଡେନ୍ ଆଜି ଆଚନକ ଯୁଦ୍ଧଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ୟୁକ୍ରେନ୍ରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଛନ୍ତି। ଏହି ଗସ୍ତରେ ସେ ୟୁକ୍ରେନ୍ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରପ୍ରତି ବୋଲ୍ଡିମିର ଜେଲେନସ୍କିଙ୍କ ପତ୍ନୀ ଓଲେନା ଜେଲେନସ୍କିଙ୍କୁ ଉଝ୍ରୋଦ୍ ସହରରେ ଭେଟିବା ସହ ଉଭୟ ଏକ ସ୍କୁଲ ପରିଦର୍ଶନ କରିଛନ୍ତି।
- ୨୦୧୯ରେ କମ୍ପାନି ବନ୍ଦ ହୋଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ଏବେ ପୁଣି ଥରେ ଜେଟ୍ ଏୟାରୱେଜର ବିମାନ ଆକଶାରେ ଉଡ଼ିବ ବୋଲି ଜଣାପଡ଼ିଛି।
- ଟାଟା ଗ୍ରୁପ୍ର ଚେୟାରମ୍ୟାନ୍ ଏନ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ରଶେଖରନ୍ ମୁମ୍ବାଇରେ ଏକ ବିଳାସପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଡୁପ୍ଲେକ୍ସ କିଣିଛନ୍ତି। ଏହି ବିଳାସପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଡୁପ୍ଲେକ୍ସର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ୯୮କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କା ବୋଲି ଜଣାପଡିଛି ।
- ମହାରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରର ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଉଦ୍ଧବ ଠାକରେ ଶନିବାର ଦିନ ଗୋରେଗାଓଁରେ ବ୍ରିହାନମୁମ୍ବାଇ ମ୍ୟୁନିସିପାଲିଟି କର୍ପୋରେସନର ‘ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଜଳ’ ନୀତି ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଏହା ଦ୍ୱାରା ବିଏମସି ବେଆଇନ ବସ୍ତି ଏବଂ କୋଠାକୁ ଜଳ ଯୋଗାଇବାରେ ସକ୍ଷମ ହେବ ।
