- କରୋନା କଟକଣା କୋହଳ ହେବାରୁ ପ୍ରାୟ ୨ବର୍ଷ ପରେ ଏକାଠି ହେବେ ମୁସଲିମ୍ ଭାଇ ଭଉଣୀମାନେ । ମସ୍ଜିଦ୍ ଯାଇ ନମାଜ ପାଠ କରିବା ସହିତ ଘରେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିବେ ସୁସ୍ୱାଦୁ ବ୍ୟଞ୍ଜନ । ରଙ୍ଗ ବେରଙ୍ଗର ପୋଷାକ ସହ ଗହଳିରେ ବାରି ହୋଇପଡ଼ିବ ଅତରର ବାସ୍ନା । ରାସ୍ତାଘାଟରେ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ମିଳିବ ମୁସଲିମ୍ ଭାଇଙ୍କ ଆଲିଙ୍ଗନର ଦୃଶ୍ୟ ।

- କ୍ୟାବିନେଟ୍ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କମିଟି ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ପରାମର୍ଶଦାତା ଭାବେ ତରୁଣ କପୁରଙ୍କ ନିଯୁକ୍ତକୁ ମଞ୍ଜୁରୀ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି। ସେ ଭାରତ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ସଚିବ ଭାବେ ପିଏମଓରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିବେ। ତାଙ୍କର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକାଳ ଦୁଇ ବର୍ଷ ରହିବ।

- Akshaya Tritiya’ -Agrarian festival was celebrated across Odisha with farmers performing ‘Akhi Muthi Anukula’, the ceremonial act of sowing seeds in their paddy fields after ploughing. The occasion marks the commencement of agricultural works.

The Election Commission said, polling will be held on the 31st of this month and the counting of votes will be taken up on 3rd of next month.
- The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) yesterday opened the double-lane stretch of the four-lane Bajaura bridge over the Beas in Kullu for traffic from the Jhiri to Bhuntar road and the Kullu bypass. Now, vehicles going from the Mandi side to Manali or Manikaran and vice-versa could take this route to avoid Bhuntar and Kullu towns.

- ରୁଷିଆ ଓ ୟୁକ୍ରେନ୍ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଜାରି ରହିଥିବା ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ଥମିବାର ନାଁ ଧରୁନଥିବାବେଳେ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ୟୁରୋପୀୟ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରଙ୍କ ତରଫରୁ ୟୁକ୍ରେନ୍କୁ ସାମରିକ ସହାୟତା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯାଉଛି। ଏହି ପରିପ୍ରେକ୍ଷୀରେ ସ୍ପେନର ରାଣୀ ଲେଟିସିଆ ୟୁକ୍ରେନ୍ଙ୍କୁ ଏକ ଜାହାଜ ଭର୍ତ୍ତି ବିସ୍ଫୋରକ (ଗ୍ରେନେଡ୍) ଉପହାର ସ୍ବରୂପ ପଠାଇଛନ୍ତି।

- ରାଜ୍ୟର ସମସ୍ତ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ, ମହାବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ, ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ନାମଫଳକ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଭାଷାରେ ଲେଖିବା ନେଇ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ତତ୍ପରତା ପ୍ରକାଶ ପାଇଛି। ଉନ୍ନୟନ ଆୟୁକ୍ତ ତଥା ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଶାସନ ସଚିବ ପ୍ରଦୀପ କୁମାର ଜେନା ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଓ ଗଣଶିକ୍ଷା ବିଭାଗ, ଉଚ୍ଚଶିକ୍ଷା ବିଭାଗ ଏବଂ ସମସ୍ତ ଜିଲାପାଳଙ୍କୁ ଚିଠି ଲେଖିଛନ୍ତି।

- ଚଳିତ ଆଇପିଏଲ୍ରେ ବାକିଥିବା ମ୍ୟାଚ୍ରେ ମହେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସିଂହ ଧୋନି ଚେନ୍ନଇ ସୁପର କିଙ୍ଗ୍ସ (ସିଏସ୍କେ) ଦଳର ନେତୃତ୍ବ ନେବେ। ଶନିବାର ସିଏସ୍କେ ଦଳ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଜାରି କରା ଯାଇଥିବା ପ୍ରେସ୍ ବିଜ୍ଞପ୍ତିରେ କୁହାଯାଇଛି-
- ରମ୍ଜାନ୍ ମାସ ପୁରା ହେବା ପରେ ମୁସଲମାନ ମାନଙ୍କର ସବୁଠାରୁ ବଡ଼ ପର୍ବ ଇିଦ୍-ଉଲ୍-ଫିତର୍ ମଙ୍ଗଳବାର ପାଳନ କରାଯିବ। ରବିବାର ଇଦ୍ର ଚାନ୍ଦ ନଦେଖାଯିବାରୁ ଆସନ୍ତା ମେ ୩ ତାରିଖ ଇଦ୍ ପାଳନ କରାଯିବ।
- ନିଜର ମୂଳ ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ବିସ୍ଥାପିତ ହୋଇ ଦେଶର ଅନ୍ୟ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଆଶ୍ରୟ ନେଇଥିବା କଶ୍ମୀର ପଣ୍ଡିତଙ୍କ ପିଲାଙ୍କୁ ମାଗଣାରେ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦିଆଯିବ। ଦକ୍ଷିଣ କନ୍ନଡ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ଅମ୍ୱିକା ମହାବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଏହି ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବ ଦେଇଛି। ସଂସ୍ଥାର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ସୁବ୍ରମଣ୍ୟ ନଟ୍ଟୋଜ ଏହି ଘୋଷଣା କରିଛନ୍ତି।
- ଉତ୍ତର ପ୍ରଦେଶରେ ଅପରାଧୀଙ୍କ ବେଆଇନ ସଂପତ୍ତି ବିରୋଧରେ ବୁଲଡୋଜର ବ୍ୟବହାର ସ୍ଵର ଏବେ ବ୍ରିଟେନରେ ଗୁଞ୍ଜି ଉଠିଛି। ନର୍ଟିଂଘମ ଇଷ୍ଟରୁ ସାଂସଦ ସେଠାକାର ସଂସଦରେ ବୁଲଡୋର ପ୍ରସଙ୍ଗ ଉଠାଇ ଭାରତରେ ମୋଦୀ ସରକାର ମୁସଲମାନଙ୍କ ଘର ଏବଂ ଦୋକାନ ଭାଙ୍ଗିବା ପାଇଁ ଜେସିବି ମେସିନ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରୁଥିବା କହିଛନ୍ତି।
- ଭାରତୀୟ ଅନ୍ତରୀକ୍ଷ ଗବେଷଣା ସଙ୍ଗଠନ( ଇସ୍ରୋ) ଦେଶ ଲାଗି ଆଉ ଏକ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଉପଲବ୍ଧି ହାସଲ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଏୟାର ପୋର୍ଟ ଅଥରିଟି ଅଫ ଇଣ୍ଡିଆ(ଏଏଆଇ)ଙ୍କ ସହଯୋଗରେ ଇସ୍ରୋ ବିମାନ ଅବତରଣରେ ନୂଆ ଜ୍ଞାନ କୌଶଳର ସଫଳ ପରୀକ୍ଷଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଏହି ପରୀକ୍ଷଣର ଫଳାଫଳ ଏବେ ଦୂର ଦୂରାନ୍ତର ଛୋଟଛୋଟ ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦରରେ ଖରାପ ପାଗ ସତ୍ତ୍ୱେ ବିମାନର ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ଅବତରଣ ସୁନିଶ୍ଚିତ କରାଯାଇପାରିବ।
- ଆସନ୍ତା ୫ ତାରିଖରେ ଜଣେ ସାଧୁ ତାଜମହଲରେ ଧର୍ମ ସଂସଦ କରିବେ ବୋଲି ଘୋଷଣା କରିଛନ୍ତି । ଏହାସହ ସମ୍ବିଧାନକୁ ଅନୁପାଳନ କରି ସେ ଭାରତକୁ ହିନ୍ଦୁ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ଘୋଷଣା କରିବା ସହ ଶିବଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିମା ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା କରିବେ ବୋଲି କହିଛନ୍ତି ।

- India has reported 3,377 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of infections to 4,30,72,176. According to the Union Health Ministry, the active cases increased to 17,801, with 821 new active cases in a 24-hour time span.
- High Certificate Examination (HSC), State Open School Certificate Examination and Madhyama (Sanskrit) Exam–began at 8 am .While duration of the exams is 8 am-10 am, timing of some of examinations is less than two hours and will be completed by 9 am or 9.30 am. Only Mathematics paper will continue till 10.15 am.
- The State’s Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to leave for New Delhi on a five-day trip. Patnaik will return to Bhubaneswar on May 3. Official sources said Patnaik will leave for the National Capital in a special flight in the afternoon on May 29.
